Story
Friendly, fuzzy, family dog seeking friendly family (or friend), fuzziness optional, for fun and mutual adoration.Meet Tyr - currently the undisputed mayor of Ice Season. While the rest of us are negotiating with our gloves and reconsidering our life choices, this magnificent goof is outside celebrating like this weather is a long-awaited Amazon order that finally arrived! He's five years old, sturdy and bright, the picture of good health, and already knows how to live in a house without redecorating it in chaos. Housetrained. Experienced. A professional in the ancient arts of Couch, Kitchen Supervision, and Loyal Following From Room To Room.Tyr is playful, energetic, and has shared his life with young children. Humans are, in his view, an excellent invention. He greets them as though each one might be the long-lost friend he's been waiting for since birth.Other dogs? He has opinions. Some receive a polite nod. Some do not make the guest list. He is not out looking for trouble - he simply prefers not to hand out roommate badges to every four-legged applicant. Think discerning, not dramatic.Tyr came from a home filled with care and connection, and through no fault of his own, the ground shifted beneath the people who loved him. Now he waits, carrying all that good history with him, ready to place it gently at someone else’s feet. There's something special about a dog who already knows how to belong to a family. They walk into your life and settle in as if they have always been there. If you have room for devotion, for snowy-day joy, for a steady shadow with excellent ears, Tyr is ready to clock in.Animal Aid Society is located at 80 Butler Farm Road in Hampton. Visiting hours are 9am to noon, including weekends and holidays.Come meet the boy who thinks winter is wonderful - and who's certain to think you are, too.Interested? Story
This is Eden. She is a 4 year old Siberian Husky and is full of love. I have only lived in apartments my whole time living in Virginia, so Eden had to live in small spaces for many years. My husband is always deployed or underway, so all my attention goes to my infant. I also work full time so she is just in the apartment alone all week. She deserves a home with a backyard to run in, a family who can give her the attention she deserves. I did get her to do train and boarding for 3 weeks. The trainer told me to keep up with the training and I could not because of work, my son, and etc. So she is a little rusty with the commands but she has potential to be proficient again she just needs to keep practicing her commands/training with her forever person. She is spayed, all shots are updated until December (I have documentation if needed). She is not cage trained but she does perfect when you leave her out (if you have to go to work or somewhere. She is not a chewer!

At 6 years old, Flash has moved past the frantic puppy stage but still possesses that signature Husky zest for adventure and the `zoomies.`Fast FactsName: FlashBreed: Siberian HuskyAge: 6 years oldAppearance: Striking red and white coatStatus: Neutered and up to date on health needsPersonality & QuirksFlash is a classic `talker`—he’ll greet you with enthusiastic `awoos` and dramatic stories about his day. Like most of his breed, he is a social butterfly who treats everyone like a long-lost friend. He is incredibly intelligent and independent, often viewing commands as `suggestions` rather than rules. He’s a professional escape artist, so he’ll need a home with a secure, high fence where he can safely explore.Ideal HomeActive Lifestyle: Flash needs a family that loves long walks, hiking, or even light jogging.Secure Space: A home with a large, securely fenced yard is a must for his safety.Companionship: He thrives on human interaction and prefers not to be left alone for long periods.Other Pets: He typically gets along well with other dogs but has a high prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals is best. Are you ready for a life full of `woo-woos` and wagging tails?

Story
Fen has spent far too many days watching the world from the end of a chain. When his owner moved away, this 6-year-old Lab/Husky mix was left behind on a lonely tie-out at an empty house, cared for only by kind neighbors who refused to let him be forgotten. They shared that Fen once lived indoors, but as his owner’s health declined, Fen’s life slowly shrank to neglect and isolation. Despite it all, Fen’s heart remains wide open.   This sweet boy is full of gentle enthusiasm and gratitude for every bit of attention. The moment he’s free to stretch his legs, Fen lights up — he loves to run, play, and feel the joy of simply being a dog again. He already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and shows just how smart and willing he is to listen and learn. Fen wants so badly to connect with people; he leans in for affection like he’s been saving up years of love to give.   Because he’s been forced to live outside for so long, he may need a little patience while relearning house manners and routine — but he’s had a home before, and he’s eager to understand again. Fen is currently underweight, a visible reminder of how he’s been failed, but also a hopeful sign of how much better his future can be with someone who truly cares.   Fen isn’t broken. He’s loving, loyal, and ready to bloom in the hands of a family who will never leave him behind again. All he needs now is a warm place to land, steady meals, and the promise that he’ll always belong.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 20, 2026, 9:56 pm

Story
Introducing Wheeler – the boy who steals hearts everywhere he goes! This 1 year old, 40-pound German Shepherd/Husky mix is as smart as he is handsome. Wheeler has already mastered sit and shake with both paws and became fully housebroken in just one week with his foster family. He’s crate trained, learning to walk well on a leash, and eager to soak up everything that’s taught to him.  This boy with the amazing smile and wonderful ears knows how to steal hearts.  Wheeler is a social butterfly who loves everyone—kids, adults, dogs, and even cats. In fact, he’s convinced the cats in his foster home need constant “baths,” which he happily provides with endless affection. He also enjoys curling up in a lap, whether it belongs to a person or another pup. This sweet boy needs company in his life.   Another companion dog would make him happy and feel secure along with a family that has someone home alot. This all is due to the hard past that started when Wheeler was a puppy. He and his brother were abandoned, and he was found underweight and limping from what turned out to be an old hip injury—likely caused by a car or a blow to his leg.  It was fractured but never set to heal correctly by a vet.  It healed on its own and doesnt bother him, but he’ll always have a slight limp.  Dont feel sorry about that because it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He runs and plays like nothing ever happened, a joyful reminder of his resilient spirit. He needs a fenced yard so he can get all his energy out daily. What makes this particular boy so special isn’t just his good looks or intelligence—it’s his kind heart. He’s grateful for every bit of love and safety he’s found in rescue, and he’s ready to give that love right back to the family lucky enough to call him their own.  If Wheeler sounds like the perfect match for your family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com. This incredible boy is waiting to meet his forever people, and we know you’ll be smitten from the very first hello. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 9, 2026, 11:29 am
