Story
I recently received my pet from an owner in NYC. Blade is a 1 year old Siberian Husky who loves attention. Due to my busy schedule, I haven’t been able to show him much attention in which I feel he deserves. He loves to play with toys, takes long walks, talks to you in his way and cuddles. He understands his command as sit, lay, paw and treat. He will walk beside you outside without being on his leash. He is a bit shy when first meeting people and other dogs, but eventually warms up to you. Overall, he’s a wonderful pet that would bring joy into your home and we would love to provide another owner the opportunity to provide for Blade.

Story
Hi my name is Zorra. I am a 3 year old Siberian Husky looking for my forever home. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, but was recently adopted. Unfortunately, even after a successful meet and greet at the shelter, I did not get along with the family dog when I got to my new home. Because of this, I will need t go to a home with no other canines or small, free roaming, animals. As a Husky I am a known escape artist. I will need a home with dog experience as we are not the best "first time dogs". A home with Husky experience would be best as we have lots of quirks that not everyone can handle. If you I sound like the perfect fit for you, please come and see me today!

Story
Hello there! I'm Traveler, your potential best friend. My days are filled with curiosity, sniffing out the latest news around the shelter. I'm a bit of a goofball too, always ready with a funny antic to brighten up your day. I've got smarts in spades, figuring out puzzles quicker than you can say 'treat'. And energy? I've got loads of it! Fetch, chase, repeat - that's my mantra. But don't worry, I'm also quite independent and love some 'me' time. I'm the perfect mix of sweet and playful, always ready to make you smile. Why adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. How about we explore this big, exciting world together?

Story
Please welcome back Prince to the 4 PAWS family! He was adopted in February 2022 and returned (through no fault of his own) in January 2023. During that time we believe he was excessively crated and not exercised; Prince is now thriving in his original foster home. He is a 3-year-old Husky mix weighing 58 lbs. Prince does well with both cats and dogs, we haven't tested him with children. He is a high-energy dog (he currently runs 3 miles a few days a week with his foster family, and he could easily run farther. Prince needs a strong owner, he will need someone who will teach him their rules, boundaries, and limitations. Prince knows many commands; sit, lay down, he knows how to heel when running, and he knows how to wait. With proper exercise and enrichment, Prince will make an excellent family member! If you are interested in adoption; DO NOT CALL, please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets as well as home information. Our goal is to have the very best home for all our dogs and cats, and therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny an application based on what we determine is in the pet's best interest. #rescuedogs #lovedogs #huskymix #lovesrunning #adoptdontshop

Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $600
