Story
Meet Ellie, a stunning 5-year-old black and white Siberian Husky with a heart as big as her personality! As a mature adult, she has moved past the frantic puppy phase and is ready to settle into a forever home where she can be your loyal, vocal, and adventurous companion.Quick FactsName: EllieBreed: Siberian HuskyAge: 5 years oldGender: Female (Spayed)Color: Classic Black & WhiteHealth: Fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.Personality: The Best of Both WorldsEllie is the perfect blend of typical Husky `sass` and `sweet.`Affectionate Soul: Unlike some independent huskies, Ellie is a known cuddle bug. She loves to rest her head on your lap and will happily soak up all the belly rubs you can give. The `Woo-Woo` Expert: She is a classic `talker` and will use her impressive vocal range to tell you about her day or remind you that it`s dinner time.Read about her recent Expawdition here:Ellie had the absolute best day out on her expawdition! ????She was simply delighted to leash up and hit the road. Wagging her tail the whole way to the car, she hopped up right into the hatchback ready for adventure. ??We decided to check out the farmers market at Buckroe Beach where she was eager to make lots of friends with all of the couples and families we met. She was so excited to see other pups out and about, but didn’t tug on her leash or bark. ??Ellie loved strutting her stuff on the boardwalk and catching some rays from some of the beach chairs she found along the way. ??We took a stroll on the sand where Ellie made a beeline for every seagull she could find. ??As it turns out, she’s also a sand crab enthusiast. ?? She loved the feeling of the sand between her furry little toes and chasing the waves as they rolled along the shoreline. ?? To wrap up her beach day, Ellie enjoyed a refreshing vanilla frosty from the comfort of a shady picnic bench. She politely slurped every last drop and waited patiently until her human company was finished.??Ellie was the happiest friendly furball to spend her day in the sunshine and enjoy the friendship of new pals. She would make a GREAT addition to a family who wants her to tag along on their adventures (and share their snacks). ?? At 5 years young, she’s the perfect age to be out of the puppy stage with having so much life and fun ahead of her. She knows tricks like sit, lay down, come,

Story
Hi, I’m Leia! I’m a 10-month-old medium mix pup (with a touch of husky) weighing 47 pounds, and I’m ready to bring joy, energy, and plenty of laughs into your life. I’m spayed, vaccinated, crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. I’m friendly, submissive, and love meeting new people—I’ll happily greet everyone with my tail wagging. I’m a high-energy pup who thrives on playtime and adventure. Tug-of-war with my rope toy, chasing squeaky balls, kicking around my soccer ball, or splashing in sprinklers and the water hose—those are my favorite ways to spend the day. If I want you to join in, I’ll poke you with a toy until you get the hint! I’m a good eater, I love treats, and I especially enjoy having body contact with my people while I chew on my toys. I’m sweet and submissive, but I’ve got a little sass too—I’ll “talk back” when corrected, which makes people laugh. On walks, I love to stop, sit, and observe the world around me. People think I was trained to do this, but it’s just my natural curiosity. I’d do best in an active family with a big yard where I can run and run. Because I can be a little mouthy, I’d be happiest with older kids who understand how to interact with dogs. I get along well with other dogs, and while I haven’t been tested with cats yet, I’m open to meeting them. When I was very young, I broke my leg. It healed a little crooked, so I walk with a slight limp—but it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I can keep up with the best of them! I sleep soundly in my crate all night, travel well once I’m in the car (though I might resist getting in at first), and I tolerate baths like a champ. I’m currently in Fayetteville, NC, but I can be transported out of state for the right home (transport fees apply). If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion who will keep you smiling every day, I’m your girl.

Story
Fen has spent far too many days watching the world from the end of a chain. When his owner moved away, this 6-year-old Lab/Husky mix was left behind on a lonely tie-out at an empty house, cared for only by kind neighbors who refused to let him be forgotten. They shared that Fen once lived indoors, but as his owner’s health declined, Fen’s life slowly shrank to neglect and isolation. Despite it all, Fen’s heart remains wide open.   This sweet boy is full of gentle enthusiasm and gratitude for every bit of attention. The moment he’s free to stretch his legs, Fen lights up — he loves to run, play, and feel the joy of simply being a dog again. He already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and shows just how smart and willing he is to listen and learn. Fen wants so badly to connect with people; he leans in for affection like he’s been saving up years of love to give.   Because he’s been forced to live outside for so long, he may need a little patience while relearning house manners and routine — but he’s had a home before, and he’s eager to understand again. Fen is currently underweight, a visible reminder of how he’s been failed, but also a hopeful sign of how much better his future can be with someone who truly cares.   Fen isn’t broken. He’s loving, loyal, and ready to bloom in the hands of a family who will never leave him behind again. All he needs now is a warm place to land, steady meals, and the promise that he’ll always belong.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
