Lumi is a vibrant young husky mix with a sparkling personality and a heart full of adventure. At just under a year old and 38 pounds, she’s the perfect size to join you on life’s journeys, whether that’s a scenic hike, a playful afternoon in the yard, or a cozy evening relaxing together. Lumi has a wonderful medium energy level, happily running and playing when it’s time for fun, then settling into a calm, peaceful companion when the day winds down. Her playful spirit shines brightest when she has a ball to chase or a dog friend to romp with. Lumi absolutely loves fetch and will proudly bring her favorite toys to share, always ready for the next round of fun. She also has the charming “husky talk” and striking two different eye colors that make her truly unforgettable. Her goofy antics, joyful enthusiasm, and expressive personality bring laughter and warmth wherever she goes. Lumi enjoys car rides, walks beautifully on leash, and bonds deeply with her people. She’s affectionate, loyal, and thrives when included as part of the family. She would do especially well in an active home where she can enjoy regular exercise, outdoor adventures, and continued positive training to help her reach her full potential. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Luan is a typical husky in so many ways! He's an active boy, clearly thriving in these snowy times! He loves to romp around and play and is a very smart boy! Huskies can be SO DRAMATIC, but Luan is fairly even keel, even when getting vetted! He's a happy guy who would do best without other pups (though he might be good with smaller dogs), and we can't imagine he'd do well with cats. Kids? Probably good to go! Zelda and Ziggy are siblings who were rescued when their owner passed away. They are getting spoiled rotten at their foster home and they even sleep in the human bed. They are getting crate trained as well. They were very malnourished when they were first rescued but they are getting full bellies now and all the vetting they need and they are healthy, happy, playful pups despite their rough start. We estimate they were born about the first of December so if all goes as planned they will be fully vetted and ready to travel by the 2nd-3rd weekend in March. These pups are fostered in West TN but transport can be arranged. This is a sweet boy dumped in a random neighborhood. He is a little shy but is friendly. He has not growled, snarled or shown any anger to strangers. Not sure if he is house trained but can learn. He loves to play, run around a yard and just have some fun. He has done well on some walks and loves the freedom to be outside. A routine is best for him to adapt and flourish in a new home. He is ready to find a forever family. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
