Story
Hey, I'm Inu, 3yr old Husky mix, around 55 lbs. Am I ever "Inu".... see what I did there? I am a sweet boy who is ready for my new forever home. I get along great with people of all sizes and all the other doggos. I am not a fan of cats so please, let’s not try that! I am a bigger boy so keep that in mind if you have little people cos I could knock them over, but I would make an awesome walking / running / hiking partner with the big-uns! If you think you and I might just make the perfect pairing, then please check me out asap! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Meet Sadiq - this handsome guy is a little over a year old and visiting the shelter due to some unfortunate circumstances. He has lived with other dogs in the past but as always a meet & greet is necessary before he joins a home with another pup. It is unknown how he would react to a feline. Sadiq is a lover, knows basic commands, and is excited to see just about anyone (especially if they have a snack!). This guy loves outside time and would make an excellent walking partner! Stop by and visit him soon.

Story
Meet Glaz! This handsome guy joined us as a stray, so while his past is a bit of a mystery, his personality is already shining through. According to the staff who have fallen head over heels for him, Glaz is a total goofball with a heart of gold. Here is the lowdown on this charming boy:• Belly Rub Connoisseur: He lives for affection and will gladly roll over for some love.• Smart & Eager: He is still learning his `table manners` when it comes to taking treats gently, but he is incredibly bright and ready to learn with a patient partner.• A True Conversationalist: That Husky heritage is strong! Glaz isn’t afraid to share his opinions, talk your ear off, or even engage in a friendly `argument` now and then.• High Focus: He has a very high prey drive and stays incredibly locked in on movement, even a leaf blowing across the yard will get his full attention.• Dog Socialization: While he hasn`t been officially tested with other pups yet, he is calm and indifferent when passing them on his daily walks.Glaz is looking for a best friend to guide him and keep him busy. If you’re looking for a talkative, goofy companion, he might be your perfect match! Interested in meeting Glaz? Stop by the shelter or message us for more details!

Story
I've had onida sense she was a pup and she is a really great dog. My kid just recently came into the picture and she doesn't know how to act around him. Shes not mean she's just very anxious and I can tell she's uncomfortable. Shes 7 but still has plenty of thag husky spank in her. She gets allergies when weather changes so she sneezes but it usually goes away on its own. I have tried pills that help her as well. Other then that she's your happy go lucky husky who loves the outdoors. Would love to see her go to a good home.

Story
Meet Apollo: Your Personal Sunshine!Looking for a handsome, fun-loving companion to brighten your days? At 63 pounds, Apollo is a sturdy, happy-go-lucky boy with a heart twice his size. After his previous family moved, this pup has been living in foster care and is ready to find his permanent landing spot.Apollo hasn`t quite realized he’s a big boy yet, he firmly believes he is a lap dog. He truly loves being near his people and prefers to be right where the action is. Whether it’s `zoomies` in the yard or a weekend hike, Apollo is always down to move. He’s best suited for a home with teenagers who can match his bouncy energy without getting knocked over. He’d love a tolerant or high-energy dog sibling to `show him the ropes` and keep up with his playstyle, though he’d also be happy as your one-and-only. Apollo has shown positive interest in the cats in his foster home; but slow, careful introductions are a must.He is in the prime of his life for learning! He’s already making great strides with loose-leash walking, cooperative care (like nail trims), and polite manners. Apollo is a loyal, bright work-in-progress who just needs a lap big enough for his heart.Apollo is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Apollo, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
