Spayed or Neutered,
Story
1 year old (estimated)  Spayed Female  43 lbs. Has done well with another dog at the shelter  Looking for a home without cats No known experience with kids  More Information Coming Soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.April 4, 2026, 4:11 pm

Story
Izzy AKA: “Good luck spotting me in a snowstorm!” Vibe Check: Doggie Beauty Pageant Queen… but make it gentle, soulful, and soft as a cloud. Fun Fact: When Izzy plays in the snow, it becomes a live-action game of Where’s Waldo? (Spoiler: I'm fluffier than Waldo.) Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Golden Oldie — think Sophia from Golden Girls energy. Senior status, much younger than senior attitude. Weight: 57 lbs of pure, imperial elegance. Health Notes (HIPAA who?): Izzy is in remarkable shape for her age! • Mild arthritis (ARF-ritis!) — managed with Galliprant (about $1 a day) • Grade 3 heart murmur — no meds needed • Deaf… or selectively ignoring you. Jury’s out. Current Residence: De Pere, WI — patiently waiting for a Green Bay Packer to adopt her because can you even imagine her in a Jordan Love jersey and a yellow-and-green tutu?! Iconic. Activity Level: Low-key queen. Walks are her jam. Marathons? Hard pass. Social Skills: Dogs? Yes please. Cats? Let’s cuddle. Kids? If you have hands and give pets, you are approved. Sleep Style: Dog bed or soft blanket near your bed. Close enough to feel safe. Not so close that she’s stealing your pillow. (She has boundaries. Regal ones.) Dining Preferences: High-quality kibble and alllll the snackies. She eats politely, stops when she’s full, doesn’t guard her bowl, and doesn’t counter surf. A literal lady. Bark-O-Meter: 1/10. A queen does not shout. She announces potty needs. Shedding Meter: 5/10. Currently blowing her winter coat and briefly turned her foster home into an indoor snow globe. But regular brushing = very manageable fluff. (Just had an undercoat blow out. Trust me, it helps) Fashion Sense: Emerald green sequined gown + tiara. Unless she’s adopted by the Packers. Then it’s jersey + tutu season. Signature Color: Emerald green Walk-Out Song: “I’m Winning” by Santana (that message... and those guitar riffs!) Signature Move: Walk the catwalk… STOP… model pose. Love Language: Napping near you so you are the first thing she sees when she opens her beautiful eyes. The Part That Matters Most: Izzy has been deeply loved — twice — by people who had to say goodbye only because their bodies couldn’t keep up anymore. She isn’t looking for excitement. She isn’t looking for chaos. She’s looking for one more person to walk gently into the future with. If you want elegance, sweetness, and a little snow camouflage magic in your life… Izzy is ready. Spayed Microchipped Potty trained and will talk to tell when it is time Good on a leash Neither needs nor likes being in a crate Enjoys car rides UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $350, ($600 for a pair). Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS NOTE ABOUT AGING A DOG: Aging a dog, based on looking at them, is unreliable and usually inaccurate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality and their needs. Puppy - Under 6 months Young Adult - 6 months to 2 years Adult - 2 years to 8 years Senior - 8 years to 12 years Golden Oldie - 12+ years

Story
I am looking for a compassionate and loving home for my senior Siberian Husky. This sweet boy has been a loyal companion and deserves a peaceful and loving environment to enjoy his golden years. He is a temperate boy who is gentle, calm and affectionate. House trained and well mannered. Took Mako in approximately one year ago to help his owner out while they looked for a new home. Was supposed to be for a few weeks but things didnt work out and owner cannot take him back. He's a good dog I just can no longer care for him and wasn't prepared to be his forever home. Mako gets along with my cats (I have 3) chasing them occasionally for fun. Only issue I have is he occasionally pulls on his leash when being walked which should not be a problem with the right collar. He turned 9 on June 19th of 2025

Story
Niyah-Siberian Husky mix-female-5 months-25 pounds. Niyah is a beautiful, spirited girl who came to CCHS after the other dogs in her previous home didn’t get along with her. She’s a playful, happy, attention-loving dog who’s always ready for fun and eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. True to her Siberian Husky roots, Niyah has plenty of energy, enjoys going on walks, and loves learning new things. She thrives with activity, engagement, and a family who appreciates her bright, enthusiastic personality. Because Huskies have unique needs, we encourage adopters to research the breed to ensure a great match for both Niyah and her future family. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion with a zest for life, Niyah might be the perfect fit. Apply to meet her at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS
