Story
This is Phoenix. Her story; She was found Abandoned in Texas tied to a Light post. The person who found her was a friend of ours, he got her vaccination for rabies & then came asking friends if anyone could take her in. My fiance told him he would if someone would be able to bring her up to Wi, & he did just that. She was about 1 at that time & now shes around 3 or very close to, we found out she had food aggression because she attacked me over the cat food bowl. She left me with needing to go to the hospital & I got 11 stitches from the encounter. Ive been trying for 2 years now to rehome her. Recommended: no kids or small animals around her because she antagonizes and terrorizes small animals or tries to eat them, & the concern for kids, if they were to feed her or get near her food, She will bite. She needs a person willing to work with her. She needs lots of exercise, & a paitent person that has trained dogs before or has enough money to get her trained by a professional.

Story
Serenity, also known as CiciHuskyFemale5 years oldGood with dogs and very shy of peopleCici was a surrender from an Amish farmer that the state closed down due to neglect and bad conditions. She was used for breed purposes only. We believe she had at least 8 litters. Cici needs a home with another playful pup, and a fenced-in yard is a must.Cici has a heart condition, and because of that, she can not be spayed. There is a surgery to correct it, but their is a high chance she may not make it through the procedure. We have decided to let her live out her days, and we want her to have the very best. Cici is very sweet but is shy of people petting her. This girl has not 1 mean bone in her body. She is a dog that loves to lay in front of a door and soak up the warm sun. She is currently being fostered with lots of other dogs and small kids.apply at wbdr.org

Story
*****Versie is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $200*****Hi, I’m Versi—short for Verstovia, like the mountain in Alaska! With my fluffy coat, strong build, and grand presence, I definitely live up to my name. I’m a big girl (about 100 lbs!) with a heart just as big. I’m a mix of Husky, Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and a little Mastiff—which means I’ve got smarts, strength, and a deep love for people all wrapped into one majestic package.I’m six years old and have spent the last three years with a family who loves me. I’m house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and well-behaved at the vet and groomer—especially if there are belly rubs involved! I love to hang out in the same room as my people, or toss my ball around in the bedroom. When I get sleepy, I’ll tuck myself into bed like the good girl I am.I’m sweet, loving, and playful—but I’m also a bit of a queen bee when it comes to other dogs. I’ve been living with another big dog for a few years now, but it’s become clear that I’d really thrive as the only pet in a home. I want all the food, toys, and attention for myself (can you blame me?), and I get stressed when I have to share. I also get a little overexcited when I see dogs through the window or on a walk, so I’d do best with someone who can help me stay calm and confident in those moments.I’m looking for a home where I can shine solo—somewhere with lots of love, some cozy spaces, and maybe a ball or two. If you’ve got a big heart and a spot in your life for a mountain-sized snuggle buddy, I just might be your girl.Medical History: Versie is a healthy adult dog, but it would be a good idea to get her in with her new vet soon after adoption so they can get to know each other!Weight: ~ 100 lbsHome Preferences: No other dogs, would like to go home with teens or olderAdoption Fee: $200 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m a sweet, snuggly Husky girl with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I love adventures, cuddles, and singing the occasional Husky song—just to keep things interesting!Car rides are my favorite—I’ll hop right in, settle down with the wind in my fur, and enjoy the ride with a big smile on my face. I also make an amazing hiking or running buddy. I stay right by your side with loose, graceful steps, and I’m always ready for the next trail or jogging route. After our outing? I’ll be your sunshine nap partner and happily snuggle up for some quiet time. (I may even fall asleep on top of you—just saying.)I’ve met people of all ages and I love making new friends. I’m working on my leash manners and learning quickly—especially when treats and praise are involved! Like most Huskies, I can be a little vocal, so I’d do best in a home that doesn’t mind my chatty side (no apartments for me, please).I’ve lived with another dog before and may do well with the right match, but I like to be the center of attention and can get a little possessive over toys. I’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions if there’s another dog in the home—and no cats, please. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, high-energy companion who’s always up for an adventure and a snuggle, I’d love to meet you!Weight: about 50 lbsMedical: I am a healthy adult dog, but it is always a good idea to introduce me to my new veterinarian when you take me home, so I can meet the doctor who will help you keep me healthy and strong!Adoption Fee: $375 + Tax

Story
Hello there! My name is Sansa! My pal, Arya, and I hail from Westeros and are now looking for a new kingdom. We have been told that we are strikingly beautiful ladies with gorgeous fur and stunning eyes. We can be uneasy around other direwolves, so it would be best if we were the only queens in our new castle. Come one down to meet us! We would love to join your kingdom!Medical History: I appear to be a healthy adult, but it`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other!Weight: ~ 41lbsAdoption Fee: $550 + Tax for the PairIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!
