Story
*****Versie is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and her adoption fee has been reduced to $200*****Hi, I’m Versi—short for Verstovia, like the mountain in Alaska! With my fluffy coat, strong build, and grand presence, I definitely live up to my name. I’m a big girl with a heart just as big. I’m a mix of Husky, Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and a little Mastiff—which means I’ve got smarts, strength, and a deep love for people all wrapped into one majestic package.I’m six years old and have spent the last three years with a family who loves me. I’m house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and well-behaved at the vet and groomer—especially if there are belly rubs involved! I love to hang out in the same room as my people, or toss my ball around in the bedroom. When I get sleepy, I’ll tuck myself into bed like the good girl I am.I’m sweet, loving, and playful—but I’m also a bit of a queen bee when it comes to other dogs. I’ve been living with another big dog for a few years now, but it’s become clear that I’d really thrive as the only pet in a home. I want all the food, toys, and attention for myself (can you blame me?), and I get stressed when I have to share. I also get a little overexcited when I see dogs through the window or on a walk, so I’d do best with someone who can help me stay calm and confident in those moments.I’m looking for a home where I can shine solo—somewhere with lots of love, some cozy spaces, and maybe a ball or two. If you’ve got a big heart and a spot in your life for a mountain-sized snuggle buddy, I just might be your girl. Please just ask at the Adoption Center to meet me, because I have a quieter kennel at the shelter where the public can`t see me.I`m eligible for a scholarship though GoodPup, which is a dog training service! Ask your counselor for more information.Medical History: Versie is a healthy adult dog, but it would be a good idea to get her in with her new vet soon after adoption so they can get to know each other!Weight: ~ 114 lbsHome Preferences: No other dogs, would like to go home with teens or older. They would benefit from a fenced yard.Adoption Fee: $200 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

They`ve both been added to our Lonely Hearts Club and have had their adoption fee reduced to $400 for the pair****Hello there! My name is Sansa! My pal, Arya, and I hail from Westeros and are now looking for a new kingdom. We have been told that we are strikingly beautiful ladies with gorgeous fur and stunning eyes. We can be uneasy around other direwolves, so it would be best if we were the only queens in our new castle. Come one down to meet us! We would love to join your kingdom!I`m eligible for a scholarship though GoodPup, which is a dog training service! Ask your counselor for more information. Story
Hey there, I’m Teddy! I’m a loyal, lovable guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I like to think of myself as a trusty sidekick who’s always up for a good time or a snack or two. Whether we’re heading out on an adventure for a burger or just hanging out at home, I’m happiest when I’m by your side, offering moral support and a silly, goofy grin. I would do best in a home where my person is home with me for most of the day, as being alone can be stressful for me and I prefer company that`s not just my own! I may be an adult, but I’ve still got that puppy enthusiasm—especially when it comes to walks, belly rubs, or chasing squeaky toys. If you`re looking for someone dependable, fun, and always ready to chat about your day then I`m your guy! I can`t wait to meet you! Medical History: Teddy is a healthy adult dog, but it`s always a good idea to get a veterinarian appointment set up as soon as possible so that they can meet!Weight: ~ 41.2 lbsAdoption Fee: $275 + TaxIf you`d like to meet me, click the `Learn About the Adoption Process` button below to plan a visit to the shelter!

Story
Hey everyone, I'm Delilah! I'm a great conversational partner, and I won't yell or scream at you like some of those OTHER huskies. I'm 10 years old, but you'll never guess that based on my energy! If you love to go on runs, that's GREAT! I LOOOVE TO GO RUNNING! Just make sure that I'm on a leash whenever we go outside. I tend to get distracted and play the game, "keep away from my owner as they yell at me to come back" it's one of my favorite games we play. If you like to relax inside, that's also one of MY favorite activities! I can nap with the best of them! My favorite toys are the ones that make a squeak or rattle like a bell when thrown, they are easier to find when thrown. I've got grey eyes from my age but I can still see just fine if you're worried, just don't expect me to catch anything thrown my way. I'm really easy going and a low maintenance girl, but I tend to get too excited with other dogs and kids. I like to play a little too rough, "What babies" that's what I say.

Story
Serenity, also known as CiciHuskyFemale5 years oldGood with dogs and very shy of peopleCici was a surrender from an Amish farmer that the state closed down due to neglect and bad conditions. She was used for breed purposes only. We believe she had at least 8 litters. Cici needs a home with another playful pup, and a fenced-in yard is a must.Cici has a heart condition, and because of that, she can not be spayed. There is a surgery to correct it, but their is a high chance she may not make it through the procedure. We have decided to let her live out her days, and we want her to have the very best. Cici is very sweet but is shy of people petting her. This girl has not 1 mean bone in her body. She is a dog that loves to lay in front of a door and soak up the warm sun. She is currently being fostered with lots of other dogs and small kids.apply at wbdr.org
