Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Roxy Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Female/8 years old/10lbs Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Please see the special notes regarding Roxy's cancer diagnosis. House-trained/Crate-trained: I am fully house-trained and crate-trained, although my foster parents leave me out of the crate when they are not around. I spend most of my time sleeping anyways. Dogs/Cats/Children: I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I also don’t like cats very much. I have never been around children inside a home but I have met a couple on walks and I seem to like them. Energy Level: Low energy but I enjoy going on short walks. Before FAR/My History: Before coming to FAR, I was surrendered due to a cancerous mass. Since then, I have undergone three surgeries to remove the masses. The vet mentioned that there is still a possibility that the cancer may have spread to other parts of my body. There is also a possibility that the cancerous masses that were removed will come back. The type of cancer I have is an aggressive form of doggy breast cancer. However, I have been doing well and have been gaining weight under the care of my foster parents. Things I like: Cuddles, treats, and getting love. Things I don’t like: Loud noises. Ideal Family/Home: I am a senior dog with special needs, but I am still a loving and sweet companion. I am hoping to find a peaceful and comfortable place to spend my golden years. Special Notes: Roxy is a senior dog with special needs, and due to her cancer diagnosis may require extensive medical care. If you are interested in giving Roxy a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Oour happy, friendly, slightly goofy boy is all set for a home of his very own! Eli, a 2½-year-old, 45 lb house- and crate-trained Jack Russell/Pit mix (best guess!, loves his humans, makes a great walking/jogging buddy or car co-pilot, and will happily nap at your feet before snuggling up at the end of the day. Eli gets along with other dogs and teens and would thrive in an active home with lots of playtime (and cuddles!). He has impressive jumping skills and loves visiting the neighbor’s dog, so a watchful eye or yard tether is key. Steady kids are the best match - he’s full of excitement when he meets everyone and could accidentally knock a tiny tot over. Microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, AND his adoption fee fully sponsored - now he just needs his forever home!     ##1700218##

Story
Meet Lizzie, a resilient survivor with the softest coat and the sweetest heart. Lizzie’s story began behind a Piggly Wiggly in Camden, AL, where she and her friends Buster and Belle were struggling to survive. Severely emaciated, covered in ticks and fleas, and frightened by the busy world around her, Lizzie’s chances looked slim. But with rescue, safety, and care, she blossomed into a healthy, happy pup. Now her true personality shines. Lizzie is endlessly snuggly and sweet, the kind of companion who loves nothing more than curling up close. Her short coat is silky soft, and her gentle nature makes her a joy to be around. Lizzie has made a full recovery and is thriving, but her heart still beats strongest when she’s near her best friend Buster. Ideally, these two inseparable companions would find a home together, where they can continue their journey side by side. If you’re ready to open your heart to a loving, resilient pup (or maybe even two), Lizzie is waiting to meet you.

Story
Kenny and Danny are bonded brothers...these little boys are absolute love.  Their first two years weren't the best, but now with love and patience they have become so much more comfortable with people.  It doesn't take long, but once they have become comfy with you all is snuggles!  They are very good with other dogs and we would recommend children 10+ for them.  They really are special and any family that adopts them will have nothing but love from them. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you! ##2145170##

Story
*Name: Eddie *Age: 3.5 years old  *Current Weight: 53 lbs  *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Eddie! Eddie is believed to be a cross between a cattle dog/jack russell terrier and maybe even some pointer. Eddie's life has been rough considering he was found laying next to an abandoned house in South Texas unable to move when SNARR rescued him. After much veterinary treatment he has regained almost all of his mobility. He can walk up stairs and run around the yard like a champ! Eddie gets along with other dogs very nicely. And would love a home with a fur or human sibling to run around with. He really enjoys playing with his active Australian cattle dog foster brother, they both have similar energy. And boy does he know how to cuddle, he has even mastered sleeping in his dog bed upside down. Eddie has not pottied in the house even once since arriving to his foster home. Eddie is curious, fun, and smart.  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ ##1710672##
