Their first two years weren't the best, but now with love and patience they have become so much more comfortable with people. It doesn't take long, but once they have become comfy with you all is snuggles! They are very good with other dogs and we would recommend children 10+ for them. They really are special and any family that adopts them will have nothing but love from them. He adores his humans, makes a great walking or jogging buddy, rides happily in the car, naps at your feet while you work, and ends every day with snuggles. He gets along well with the 2 other dogs and teenagers in his foster home and will thrive in an active home with plenty of playtime and affection. Hopper may be the most appropriately named dog you will ever meet - this little guy has pogo sticks for legs! He could probably set some kind of world record for consecutive "hops" in the air. An athletic, playful and entertaining boy who came to us with some learned coping behaviors that we believe stemmed from not having enough lets go! in his life! He was a frustrated firecracker that needed to get out and go go go!! Hop has made great canine friends here! He gets to burn off his little dog terrier energy marching along darting about tracking scents, on solo or group hikes.. in the woods jumping over logs, leaping and yes, hopping... playing chasing games with his buddies in the large grass yards and definitely getting his full share of that wonderful game, enjoyed by humans and canines alike, FETCH!!! Hop is a dog who is his best self having had some enjoyable exercise and fun games. He is smart, active and engaged. He enjoys learning and being praised! Name: Mongmong Age: 4 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) Mix Color: Black, tan, and white Weight: 9.5 kg (20.9 lbs) Height (at shoulder): 32 cm (12.6 inches) Mongmong is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves people — whether you’re a familiar friend or someone he’s just met, he’ll happily come over for pets and attention. He’s especially gentle with young children and is comfortable being picked up with arms under his belly. Once he warms up, he’ll even show you his belly! He’s curious about other dogs and will approach them to say hello, though he doesn’t typically engage in play. Gentle with cats, not much interest in them. Mongmong has a moderate energy level and enjoys outdoor activities like walks, but settles down calmly afterward. He’s well-behaved on leash, doesn’t pull, and follows his human companion nicely. He is not food aggressive and remains calm in a kennel or during car rides. Mongmong was found injured, likely from a car accident, and was at risk of euthanasia at a municipal shelter. After being rescued, Mongmong had one eye removed due to phthisis bulbi, a condition that caused his eye to shrink and lose function and had hernia surgery on 25.05.01-but he’s recovered beautifully and is now ready for a fresh start Mongmong is a brave little survivor with a heart full of love. Hammy is an 8-week-old terrier mix with a heart that’s way bigger than his 4-lb body! He’s a proud little tripod (missing his back left leg), though he truly doesn’t know he’s any different. This sweet boy is the definition of easy to love. He has joyful puppy zoomies, then happily settles in for snuggles. He’s very go-with-the-flow, adaptable, and thrives on being near his people — a classic velcro pup, but not in an overwhelming way. If you’re moving around the house, Hammy is likely right behind you, tail wagging. Hammy loves other animals, and is really enjoying his foster siblings — both cats AND dogs.
