Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. This pup is in a foster home in TX. Yep, from my bubbly personality. Always working at how next to put a smile on your face! That's not really work cuz just one look at this face and you can't help but feel that twitch of the lips and then I just need to give you one of 'my looks' and that twitch will turn into a full blown smile! My super power at it's finest!!! At only around a year old I am an active playful pup that still has a lot of learning to do, and with your help, I'm ready to ROCK it!! My house training is coming along and I'm getting pretty good at going outside to potty and I am crate trained. I do real well with the other foster pups here and would love having a playful sibling to torment...oops, did I say that out loud? I meant to say play with. ;) Nothing like getting in some zoomies out in the yard with a cohort in crime!!!! I will need to have plenty of exercise and playtime in to keep my body and mind stimulated and my shenanigans at a minimal (that's my young age and the terrier part of me coming out). At around 10lbs I'm at my growed up weight and will stay on the small side so it'll be easy to just scoop me up and take along on all your daily activities. My favoritest time is you and me time, no matter what we're doing!! And the bestest thing is I don't take up much room on the couch or recliner. I'm a perfect fit for just about any lap! The sun is shining up in the sky, throwing you your little shadow...ME! Never be by yourself again, I'll follow you from room to room, outside to back inside. Even when the sun goes away at the end of the day, you'll know it'll be coming back to brightener your day cuz I am here, still being your shadow!!

Tommy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Tommy and his siblings came from a backyard breeder who didn't want them. A neighbor rescued them to keep them from being killed. We know that Tommy is mostly a Jack Russell Terrier. He is just over 1 year of age and weighs 20 pounds. Tommy was terrified of our other dogs at first but now he runs and plays with all of them. He is a JRT. Very active and playful. He loves to run and play chase with the other dogs. He gets really excited by squirrels and can jump really high (over 4 ft). He likes water and gets in the wading pool to cool off. Tommy is a very sweet boy. He likes to sit next to you on the couch to get pets and belly rubs. He loves treats. Tommy obviously received no training from the people he came from but he is smart and learns quickly. He is now crate-trained but still needs work on house training. He needs additional obedience training and also needs to learn house manners because he will chew on things that he is not supposed to. Tommy is a small dog, so he must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators. Tommy must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and must have a very secure, 6-foot-high fenced yard to run and play. Tommy is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Tommy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Danbury, Glastonbury, or Dayville CT. Tommy is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Nami is a peach! Those markings are truly unique! Her fur is so soft and her demeanor so sweet! Nami was brought to the shelter by a couple and their kids. During the intake process, the couple said she was a stray, but the kids said that she was their dog. She is such a puppy still at 6 months (age guess) , so petite at 20lbs! We already got her spayed and she is up to date on vaccines! Great with people and other dogs, she was housed in a community kennel (with many other dogs) and always stayed out of trouble when a scuffle broke out. She is so sweet and deserves a family, not a community kennel! From her foster mom: Info on Nami...super lovable! Loves running around with Biskit. Great with the kids and others that she has met. Very intrigued with the cat. Wants to play with him. Still not potty trained but will go on pads most of the time. Likes to poop on the carpet if you give her a chance. DUKE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! Duke is an adorable little 19-week-old pup that is READY to play with his new family. He loves people, his raw hide bones, and chasing after his tennis balls. He also loves Disney+ and cuddling with his humans to wind down at night. Mr. Duke is crate trained and is almost housebroken.  He LOVES children.    Duke has had all of his puppy shots, as well as rabies vaccination, is neutered, and microchipped. Duke is ready to meet and bond with his furever family.
