APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. (Shayne's Rescue is an affiliate with PetCentralSATX). If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. The 4 ‘M’ Puppies came to us from a neighbor down the street. An elderly man had these 4 pups dropped on his property and he didn’t know what to do with them. He approached a neighbor that he knew to do rescue but she, too, was having her own problems with too many dogs and she approached me. They were already 3 ½ mos old. (We gave them a DOB of 2/15/26.) We took them in and started shots, neutering and TLC. I see 2 puppies with one father and 2 puppies with another father. I did a phone scan for breed-types and came out with varying suggestions so as we list each one, I will list the differences. MERLIN-Possibly a mixture of Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, and Beagle. He seems to be the same parentage as MAJOR. He is currently 6 mos old and he weighs 10#. I expect him to be about 20# when grown. He is so much like his brother with his short legs of which the Beagle is more obvious. He is the smallest of the litter and has a touch of shyness. He loves to play with all the toys and loves the water tub. It is quite hot right now in Texas…so they all love the water. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you will have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
DOB 6-2-2026 Sweet Maggie May is so sweet she has a heart shape on her site. She loves attention, loves to play with toys and her little friends. She is such a good girl, loves everyone. Maggie's adoption fee is 750.00 she will come with all of her medical records and health certificate. Her transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

❤️🎶 Meet Kenny Rogers! 🎶❤️Every litter needs a little music, and this handsome boy was named in honor of the legendary Kenny Rogers — with his sisters carrying on the Dolly Parton side of the tribute. Because what's better than a little country music and a whole lot of puppy love? ❤️🐾Kenny is the only boy in his litter, and this red-and-white sweetheart is one special guy! He looks a lot like his sister Ruby, with beautiful red-and-white coloring, long legs, and an absolutely fabulous personality.Kenny is sweet, playful, and full of charm. He's the kind of boy who is happy to be involved in whatever is happening and has that easygoing personality that makes you fall in love with him pretty quickly. 🥰With his long legs and handsome coloring, Kenny is going to be quite the head-turner when he grows up — but it's his great personality that really steals the show. And since he was named after Kenny Rogers, we think he's destined to find his own “Islands in the Stream” kind of love — the kind that lasts forever. ❤️This handsome boy is ready to find his forever family and start the next chapter of his story.🐾 Interested in Kenny? Please visit the SCARF website and submit an adoption application to be considered for this sweet boy: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41Kenny can be transported from Texas for an additional $300 transport fee. 🚐❤️*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
🐾 Meet Dolly — A Little Country Girl with a BIG Heart! 🐾Dolly is a 6-month-old little blonde sweetheart from our Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers litter, and she may just be the cutest little country girl you'll ever meet! This adorable scruffy girl has a charming personality to match her fluffy good looks and is as sweet as they come. This special litter was named as a tribute to Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, two beloved country music legends whose friendship and music touched so many lives. We especially love honoring Dolly because she has always been a true animal lover and advocate for animals, making her the perfect inspiration for this group of little rescue pups. ❤️🐾Dolly came into our care as an owner surrender and is now looking for a family who will love her for all of her years to come. At just 12 pounds at 6 months old, she is already close to her adult size, and we expect her to remain a petite girl, likely around 15–20 pounds when fully grown. She may be small, but Dolly has plenty of love to give! She's affectionate, adorable, and ready to find someone who will make her a cherished member of the family. She's the perfect size for someone looking for a little companion who can join in on adventures but also happily curl up beside you.Dolly has her bags packed and is ready to trade her owner-surrender story for a forever-home happily ever after. After all, every little girl deserves a family who will love her from here to the moon and back! 💕🐾📍 Located in Texas – can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $300.📝 Apply to adopt Dolly:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas.
