I'm a happy, outgoing 3-year-old Jack Russell–Chihuahua mix who weighs about 18 pounds, and I have quite a story. I was found on the border of Mexico and Texas with a litter of puppies. Life had already thrown a lot at me by the time I was rescued, but I'm proof that a little love and safety can change everything. Now I'm ready for the next chapter – a real forever home. I'm friendly and social with other dogs and do great with people of all sizes. Whether you're tall, short, young, or grown, I'm happy to meet you. I'm housebroken, kennel-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and even know how to use a dog door like a pro. I'm the kind of girl who can settle comfortably into an apartment or a house – as long as I get to be with my people, I'm content. I may be small, but I've got a big personality and a big heart. I'm cheerful, affectionate, and always ready for the next good thing. Wave hello to Moose! He is our new handsome, energetic deaf puppy. He is completely deaf so we have been working with him using hand signals which he picks up on very well. You’ll have your hands full with all his puppy energy and zest for life, but he can also be so calm and sweet. He loves to lay out in the grass while you give him all the love and pets, then he’s ready to get back to his adventures. He seems like he would love to play with other dogs and we are hoping to get him in a play group soon. He loves to investigate the woods on his hikes and is always happy to go for a nice walk. Meet Mr. Potato Tiktak Toy Story! Meet Mr. Potato Tiktak Toy Story, a tiny puppy currently estimated to be about 5 months old. We believe this little one may be a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier mix, but as with many rescue puppies, his exact breed blend is a mystery. What isn’t a mystery is that he’s ridiculously cute.
