Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Chika and Ollie were surrendered due to their parents passing away. These dogs are bonded and have been pampered their whole lives. We would like to find them adopters that will do the same thing. Chika and Ollie are both typical lap dogs. They are great companions and love to cuddle. Ollie is 10 years old and Chika is 8. We would love for them to find a home together. They are really laid back dogs and do not require any exercise but they do love adventures. They used to live on a property with a few acres. They have no health issues and are up to date on all vaccinations and spayed/neutered. They are both ready to find their forever homes now. ##2098095##

I’m on the lookout for a forever family to share my joy with. Playing fetch is my absolute favorite, and I could do it all day! When I get tired, I enjoy taking naps and snuggling with my foster family while we watch TV. I love being pet and can’t get enough of it. I sleep in my own bed but sometimes hop up to sleep with my foster family. I am very smart, take “No” seriously and am an obedient boy. I know commands like “sit,” “paw,” “down,” and “off,” and I am a quick learner. I walk well on a leash but get excited when I see new people or furry friends because they make me so happy! I bond well with everyone, including kids. Sometimes I jump for attention, just looking for some love and ear rubs. I can be a bit eager at mealtime and tend to finish my food quickly. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Milo was adopted from PRBJ as a puppy and returned 7 years later due to him not getting along with the other dogs in the home. He loves all humans, adults, children, and any and all strangers and visitors to the house. Seriously, he will go home with the plumber if you don't watch him. He's curious and fear free and wants to be wherever the action is. Pull up a chair or a blanket and he'll join you at whatever you're doing. Milo is a pretty smart boy, with quite a remarkable nose. If you forgot a cereal bar at the bottom of your gym bag, he will find it and leave you with an empty wrapper. He really enjoys puzzle toys and snuffle mats, and training of all sorts, nad he is treat and food motivated. Milo likes to sleep in the same room as the humans, and is fine to sleep in his own bed. He will cuddle with you on the couch if you allow it, but will stay on his mat if you don't. He is house trained, walks fine on a leash, and he also knows a bunch of obedience commands (Sit, Down, Place, Stay, No, Leave It, Roll Over, Hello/Shake, Take It, Hold It, and a shaky 'heel') He does fine at the dog park, doggy day care and boarding. He is not a fan of cats. Milo is good on car rides and at the vet and the groomers, as well as restaurant/cafe patios. Kira has been with us since she was 5 months old. She is a loving girl, who needs attention and hugs. She get overly excited with visitors and she is very playful. She does not like to stay home alone though, so she needs someone who can stay with her. We recently went through a major family change and it has been hard on her. I am extremely sad to give her away but I travel for work and don't have the time to watch her or stay at home with her. She does not require much but company and love.
