Hello! This is Lexi - she’s about 10 years old and is very sweet! She’s always been around other dogs, cats, and little kids. She’s a little anxious and can be yappy, but is otherwise a good companion. I recently went through a divorce, followed rather quickly by a job loss and subsequent health issues. I just can’t give her the attention she needs and I don’t have the funds to take her to the vet as she gets older. I really didn’t want to take her to the shelter because of her anxiety - I don’t think she’d do well there. I’m really hoping to be able to rehome to a loving household instead. Thank you ~

Story
I adopted Bodie from a rescue in my area, he loves people and loves to run and play outdoors. He sleeps with me or in his bed and is house broken, he will go to the door when he needs to go out. The rescue staff stated he did not like to be crated, when questioned further I was told it does not make him anxious, he just barks, I have not tried to crate him, however a few times I have left him in my room without me and he is fine with it. He walks on a leash but pulls. He is a very high energy pet and gets excited, jumping and barking. I am currently living with my parents who are in their 70s, this behavior is not easy for them. I feel it will be better for Bodie to live in a home where he can be happy and playful.

Shelby is a 2 year old terrier mix who weighs 15lbs. She’s very sweet, affectionate, playful & silly. Shelby enjoys doggy friends & we believe she’d do well with cats. She’s spayed, microchipped & UTD on vaccinations. She had trauma to her right eye prior to coming to us and it was removed. She does well on a potty schedule of every 3 hours during the day. Shelby is afraid of the sound of all lawn equipment so having a fenced yard is an absolute requirement. Requirements to adopt Shelby: •No kids under the age of 8 living in the home •Fenced yard •Schedule that allows for her to go out every 3 hours during the day If you’d like to adopt Shelby please send an email inquiry to Lovetotherescueinc@gmail.com Shelby is located in Wesley Chapel, FL.
