Koda is a handsome fellow! His owners were moving and he and his girlfriend Chloe could not go. They arrived to the shelter on 2/28. Chloe has been adopted. Koda is 1 1/2 years old and weighs in at 41 pounds. He is a sweet heart and laid back. He knows to sit and stay when asked. His favorite time is play time. Wouldn't you like to wake up to those eyes every morning? Ask for ID# 17267 Run 835. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Elvis (dog version!) is a very special, loving dog but I am leaving for military training at the end of March and will unfortunately need to find him a new home. Personality (good with children, other dogs, and cats; leash/crate trained; knows commands; housebroken; separation anxiety, etc.). Very gentle and loving. Good with people and loves kids. I've had a smaller dog he also gets along and plays with. Good with other dogs too and every once in a while he could bark at another dog but no aggression at all. Knows basic commands (sit, come back etc) and leash and bathroom trained (I have a backyard and a doggy door). Does fine on his own during the day but he is curious and being 70 pounds he can climb a smaller fence and want to explore. He wasn't really put in a crate since he's bigger and was potty trained.
