HANDSOME, SWEET & FUN:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 17 lbs. Hi, I’m Lexington, but I answer to the name Wicket (please refer to Lexington though when inquiring about me as that’s the name all my records are under).  I was adopted for about 8 months, but I’m back with Mostly Mutts because I simply could not get along with the kitties in my home.  I’m in a wonderful foster home now, while I wait to find my new family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I liked some dogs I met while in my former home though I would snap at dogs who didn't respect my personal space.  In my foster home, they took things slowly with some walks together, sitting and eating separately inside, etc. and we became comfortable with each other and get along well now.  When I was formerly with Mostly Mutts, I liked the mellow small dogs, but not the larger ones, so if you have a dog that sounds like we could be a match, let’s take a walk together and have a nice slow introduction and see if we can be friends.  I believe I’d also be happy as your only pet. / No cats as I cannot live with them due to my strong prey drive. / Mostly Mutts thinks older kids would be best as I did bite a 7-year-old in my former home over resource guarding and I’m uncomfortable with small kids who don't respect my personal space. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  Based on what my former owner and foster have shared, I’m an affectionate, happy-natured, loving boy who’s a total cuddler. I have a great balance of playful and chill, with a fun, silly personality that keeps things entertaining.  I haven’t been destructive with furniture, which is a big plus!  I absolutely love people and attention - I’ll happily jump up to be close to you and will even try to sit right in your lap if you let me.  I’m a very sweet, lovable dog who truly enjoys being with my humans, and I am a very good boy! / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My former owner reported that I know the ‘sit’, ‘leave it’ and ‘down’ commands.  They also say that I should not be off leash due to strong prey and scent drive.  I formerly resource guarded so I’m not allowed on furniture and that helped.  My leash manners are pretty good, though when I see other dogs, I look like I would want to “mix it up” with them, so my foster just crosses the street.  When I was with Mostly Mutts, I knew lots of commands, so let’s take advantage of the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers all their adopted dogs. / In my former home, I was anxious when left home alone – they reported that I should be crated and would cry, howl and bark for long periods of time, so best no apartment/condo type home due to this.  At bedtime, I enjoy sleeping in my foster’s bed and occasionally on a dog bed next to it. / My #1 potty habits have been good in both my former and foster homes.  I had a few #2 accidents when I first arrived in my foster home, but am doing much better now that I know the routine.  I am used to a fenced yard, and I go outside quite frequently. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I have lots of fun favorites!  I love blankets and soft toys - I’ll even make little nests out of them.  Tennis balls are a big hit, and I have a great time playing tug-of-war or chasing a ball.  I also love squeaky toys.  I’m a big fan of tasty treats like chicken, cheese, yak cheese bones, bully sticks and even broccoli.  I also really enjoy soaking up the sunshine in a cozy spot.  More than anything, I love attention - snuggling, being a lap dog, and going for walks and car rides! / I don’t like being left alone for long and can feel anxious when I am, so I’d do best in a home where someone is around a good bit.  I’m not a big fan of baths, and I prefer my space around other dogs or young children - unless I choose to interact.  Like all dogs, I wouldn’t be happy without plenty of love, attention, exercise, and training.       • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 9, 2026, 6:47 am

Story
A SWEET SENIOR COMPANION:  Approx. 11 years old / Approx. 33 lbs.  Hi, my name is Meeko!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and have been soaking up the love from the dedicated volunteers and in my foster home ever since!  I can’t remember how I ended up at animal control, but I’m thrilled to get a new chance to find a loving home and family – hopefully soon!  I’m currently in a foster home while I wait for my furever family to come for me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like them, so I want to be your only dog.  I don’t react to other dogs that I see on my walks, nor am I bothered by the two big dogs that live upstairs in my foster home, whom I live separately from but see frequently from afar in the yard.  / Cats unknown, however, I have shown a bit of prey drive with other small animals. / I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and was nervous around them, so kids 15+ may be a good match for me.  Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a small guy with a big, loveable personality!  I’m described as a sweet, gentle, fun-natured and playful, spunky guy.  That’s right, I still have a spring in my step at 11 years old!  I enjoy cuddling/snuggling with my people and will climb right into your lap if you let me!  I’m not shy and can be vocal when I want your attention, so condo or apartment living would likely not be a good fit for me.  I was also not shy about showing my elation, with grateful sighs of appreciation during my shelter bath.  I am a smart, well-mannered, and friendly guy who is sure to bring joy to my new home! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I have already shown that I know several commands: ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’.  I also walk nicely on a leash, utilize proper door etiquette, and accept friendly strangers without jumping.  I like to go on walks with my favorite stuffy toy in my mouth – so cute!  I am treat-motivated and love to please, so I bet you can teach me even more – including taking advantage of the free training classes that Mostly Mutts offers to all their adoptive pups – who says an old dog can’t learn new tricks?! / My crate manners are good in my foster home, I quite like it in there actually, it’s like my ‘safe’ place!  / My potty habits were good on the shelter schedule and are good in my foster home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to spend time with my foster and go for my daily walks and occasional car rides.  I love people and greet them politely and always with an energetic tail wag.  Playing fetch, chew toys, and tennis balls are my favorite things.  You are not likely to find a bigger treat fan than me, either.  Another thing I enjoy is peanut butter filled Kongs and I enjoy going for walks and surveying my world.  In my foster home, I love to crawl into my bed and cover myself with a cozy blanket – my foster mom jokes that when I peek out of the blanket, I look like ET! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I came in with some broken teeth and needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived and thankfully MM has done that for me.  I’ve got a skin tag on my back leg, but it doesn’t bother me, and I hope you won’t mind it either.  I am taking an affordable over-the-counter joint supplement, which is good for all older doggies. I am looking for a wonderful furever home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 9, 2026, 6:47 am

Story
Bentley is a very loving dog once he gets used to you. He does love to cuddle a lot. We got him when he was 6 months old from a family in Maryland. He is 6 years old as of this April coming up. But I’m looking for in a new pet is someone who is good with animals stack can possibly help retrain Bentley. Someone who can help him with his aggressive behavior. He barks a lot when left unattended and he needs someone who can manage that as well. I would love for him to be with someone who allows a cuddle and is really good with dogs bad and to be more on the anxious and clingy side. The adjective that I would use to describe our Bentley is loyal, protective, and many cases overly protective with strangers, anxious when left alone for long period of time, especially if we’re working from home.
