Story
**Courtesy Post** Dino is an energetic and compact little dog. He’s slightly over 1 year old and is very friendly and energetic. Dino is a very fun, bubbly and energetic dog. Very true to Jack Russell Terrier temperament. He does have the ability to settle, is kennel trained, trained to jog on his treadmill and gets along great with both cats and dogs. He will not do well with little critters, such as parakeets, hamsters, lizards, etc. He will also not do very well with farm animals. Terriers like to chase things like that. Dino needs a securely fenced yard. No wrought iron fencing because he is small enough to walk through it. No electronic fencing because he will run through it and then not be able to get back in. In order to adopt him, you must have a good vet reference and be comfortable with a visit to your home. There is a small rehoming fee for him. If you are interested, please contact his owner and she will send you an adoption application. His adopter must be able to drive to the Cleveland, Ohio area to get him. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Sophiee is such a sweet dog. She wants to be with her people 24/7 but does good in a crate if needed. She does great with my 8 month old dog along with my 11.5 yr old dog. She is non-aggressive with cats but may chase if they run. I have had a cat with her and rubbing on her with no problem. She loves kids. She likes water and to swim. We have taken her camping with us numerous times. She is reactive but non aggressive and rarely barks. She loves everyone she meets. she loves to sleep in bed right next tp you and doesn't mind. blanket to cover up with. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 4, 2023, 3:42 pm
