Story
Georgia~born~February 2019Characteristics: sweet, affectionate, timid, loving, eager to please, fast learner, toy motivated, smart, curious, cuddle bugHi, I'm Georgia and I'm as sweet as a Georgia peach! My foster dad says I'm the easiest dog he's ever fostered, and he's fostered a lot of dogs, so I guess I'm pretty special! I'm estimated to be a Jack Russell / Terrier mix. I am looking for my forever home and hope it'll have lots of toys and maybe not so many other animals. I never had the proper direction on how to interact with other pups so I'm a little timid, and therefore hoping to be the center of attention in my new home. I just know my perfect match humans are out there for me to give all my unconditional love and affectionate to! I'm very smart and walk great on a leash. I really LOVE to cuddle. Looking forward to meeting you and becoming your new best friend!XO,Georgia_____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please use these links for our:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.org

Story
Hey guys! I am Salty Sam,  and I was rescued from a house where my previous owners just left me and my brother without food. It was not nice of them at all but we were rescued by some great people that reached out to CCRC.  I am currently looking for an amazing home to call my own and will be committed to teaching me all the great things this world has to offer. I am absolutely brilliant and am game for learning to play agility, go hiking, run10ks, and go exploring.  I even tried skateboarding and dock diving! With brains and energy comes the need to keep me busy, and I will need to have a family that is ready to rock and roll with reward based training! I have loved playing with dogs, but a meet and greet is always a good idea     If you would love to meet me, please fill out an application asap! We could be best friends in no time!  We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   September 26, 2023, 2:36 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Sophiee is such a sweet dog. She wants to be with her people 24/7 but does good in a crate if needed. She does great with my 8 month old dog along with my 11.5 yr old dog. She is non-aggressive with cats but may chase if they run. I have had a cat with her and rubbing on her with no problem. She loves kids. She likes water and to swim. We have taken her camping with us numerous times. She is reactive but non aggressive and rarely barks. She loves everyone she meets. she loves to sleep in bed right next tp you and doesn't mind. blanket to cover up with. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. September 26, 2023, 8:20 am

Story
Fokker (pronounced like the movie ‘Meet the Fockers’) is about 9yrs old and still has the energy and playfulness of a puppy. He loves to play ‘rough’ with smaller dogs close to his size. He can be cautious and slightly defensive when he first meets another dogs but usually just wants to play with them. He has spent most of his life in a household of 1-3 other dogs of various sizes and ages so he will acclimate well to a family with another dog. He loves to bark at critters outside or others dogs walking on the sidewalk outside his house. He knows many of the basic tricks plus some extras. He response well to his name and commands but can be distracted easily if there is another animal that catches his eye.

Story
Hi! My name is Copper. I was dumped at a ladies' home, and she was kind enough to bring me to Easys! I am a cute little boy with a bobtail. I am very friendly and I play well with others! I am a bit of an instigator though, so you’ll have to keep your eyes on me! :). Yes I'm just full of energy all the time, ready to go to my new furever home so please won't you adopt me? I'm in TN right now but no worried because they use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.
