He especially loves gentle scratches on the top of his head and appreciates people who take the time to approach him slowly and respectfully.Like many terriers, Chip enjoys exploring the world through his nose. Whether he's sniffing around the yard or investigating a new space, his curious side shines through. When he's finished with his adventures, he's more than happy to curl up beside his favorite person and enjoy a peaceful nap.Chip has previously lived with children over the age of 12 and has shown neutral behavior around other small senior dogs. Owner terminally ill senior lady and in hospice.His name is Normie, he’s a Jack Russell mix about knee high and around 30 lbs. He’s neutered about 3 yrs old. She rescued him from the Romulus Shelter about 2 yrs ago. He loves kids, is a bit hyper around other dogs but not mean. Knows basic commands. He’s house broken, crate trained but doesn’t need to be in a crate as he’s very good when left out. If I wasn’t at my legal limit for my city I’d keep him myself. He’s a very good dog. My mom had to abandon him in her house as she was taken by ambulance when she had a stroke. The house is being sold. He is such a good dog and would be great with active people, seniors, anyone really. His person was 75 yrs old used a walker and cane and he was always very patient and respectful of her. He is a clown and has a great personality. He is currently at the Westland Humane Society. Please check him out there, he really is a great guy!
