Simba didn’t ask for his world to turn upside down, but here he is a five year old Jack Russell Terrier bursting with life, longing for a second chance.
Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to the shelter when his family decided they no longer had time for him. After spending his entire life in a home, the shelter is no place for this vibrant little guy, and he knows it.
Simba is full of energy, personality, and undeniable charm. He thrives on human interaction and adores people, making it clear he’s ready to be part of a family again.
His previous owners said he did well with kids, dogs, and even cats, proving he’s adaptable and well-socialized. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and eager to please, though he does struggle with some separation anxiety—which just means he loves his people a little extra.

Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page.
The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Please email the application to adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net or drop it off in person during our business hours.
Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed along with your application. Please allow us a few days to contact you about your application as we do get many in on a daily basis. We will contact you as soon as possible.
