Story

We rescued Lady in 2019. She has always had a fire in her and the most difficult dog I have ever trained. We then later became pregnant and then the pandemic happened and time had just slipped by. Lady is a very sweet girl, she loves to cuddle and she extremely soft! Over the last year she has become very jealous of our other dogs and children and it has made things very uncomfortable and hard for all of us in the house. We think she would be happier if she got all the attention and we are so very sad that we cannot do that. She would probably do best in home where she is the center of attention. She does love kids and other dogs, but on her terms. We will help cover her vet costs for her adoption, we just want her to go to a loving home!

Such a shiny, soft, beautiful black coat Lucky has, and those ears… She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 25 pounds. Lucky is such a connecting girl with an affectionate and attentive nature. She is so cuddly and loves to snuggle up close to you, always wanting to be nearby. You can never walk by her kennel without stopping to pet her, she literally squishes herself against the bars just a wiggling and hoping for some love and pets. It is truly the cutest thing ever. What a good girl too, she loves toys, playing with them gently and then releasing them nicely when it's time to give them back. Lucky is an absolute sweetheart and has the cutest stub tail that never quits wagging. She needs a forever home that will love and care for her, and she will definitely love you with all her heart. Lucky is a great listener and will be your very best friend. At this time, it is best that she is the only dog in the home though, the kennel life is a little stressful for her and she gets a little tense with all the other dogs around. An adopter who has some knowledge of the confident nature of the breed and a home where any children are at least 8 years old is perfect for Lucky.
