Hi, I’m Stella. I’m a pup with striking good looks, expressive ears, and a face that always seems to say, “Did someone open the treat bag?” I really am the full package. I’m fully potty trained and understand good house manners. I’m also crate trained and comfortable spending time in my crate, which I treat like my own cozy little space. At night, I settle in easily and sleep through until morning, so you won’t be dealing with late-night wake-up calls. I love being around people and thrive on companionship. I’m friendly, affectionate, and enjoy being involved in whatever my humans are doing, whether that’s relaxing at home, playing in the yard, or going about daily routines. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy playtime, but I’m just as happy curling up for cuddles when things slow down. She loves playing with her foster brother and will happily romp around until they’re both worn out. She adores our kids (ages 10, 8, and 5) and follows them everywhere they go. She is calm, gentle, and respectful with our cats, carefully introducing herself and giving them space. Pollie enjoys walks and loves sniffing everything she can find. While she still has some puppy energy, once she settles down, she’s a world-class snuggler. Whether that’s on the couch or stretched out in a sunny spot on the floor. Pollie adjusted to Minnesota’s snow and cold in just half a day and now loves running and playing in the white stuff. She would do well as an only dog or with another canine companion, but her favorite thing is being around people.   She is fully potty trained, sleeps in her kennel every night, and knows basic commands like sit and stay. She listens well, responds to direction, and takes correction gently. Pollie would be a wonderful addition to any home seeking extra love, loyalty, and companionship. About Me Hi! I’m Pollie Poo, and I’ve had quite the adventure. I came all the way from Alabama with some of my friends, and wow, it’s cold here! It took me a minute to figure out how to go potty on this white stuff, but once I did, I realized how fun it is to run around in it. I especially love my foster mom; she’s my favorite. I cuddle up to her at night because it makes me feel safe. My foster brother can be a little annoying (he steals all the toys!), but I share anyway. I love playing with the kids and following them around the house. The cat is still warming up to me, but I promise I’m very gentle and just want to be friends with everyone. When you pick up my leash, I get SO excited, even though my foster mom says we have to wait for warmer weather for longer walks. I’m learning about these strange things humans call stairs. I’m not totally sure about them yet, but I’m working on it! I’m treat-motivated but prefer to eat my meals on my own schedule. I sleep in my kennel all night without whining or accidents (apparently, this makes my foster mom very happy). I might bark at new people at first, but it doesn’t take long before I’m asking for belly rubs. I can’t wait to find my furever home where I can love as big and as hard as I love everyone I meet. Meet Chase — a pint-sized rocket with a big personality and endless zoomies! 🚀🐾 This adorable Jack Russell mix puppy is just under a year old and came to us after being found out on his own by the Fillmore County Sheriff. Chase is everything you’d expect from his breed: energetic, smart, curious, and always ready for action. However, he has some residual fears and anxiety after being on his own, so he would do best in a home without children and one that is highly predictable. He is uncomfortable with his feet being touched, being leaned over, and will sometimes resource guard comfy places or his people. He is currently working on these behaviors in his foster home, but will need someone who is patient and willing to set boundaries with him, while also showing him that the world is a safe place. He already knows how to sit, seems familiar with potty pads, and is doing well with potty training. He sleeps nicely in a kennel at night and enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s still learning his play manners but holds his own even with bigger dogs. Chase enjoys walks but may try to chase squirrels along the way. He loves chew toys, squeaky toys, food, and playtime, and he’s always ready for his next adventure. He would really enjoy puppy classes to continue working on manners and to provide important mental stimulation. Chase does best when he has plenty of appropriate chew toys, and his future family should plan to puppy-proof the home.
