You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tank, a lively and loving Jack Russell Terrier mix who has quickly become one of our top fosters out of the 30+ dogs we've welcomed into our home.    Tank is bursting with puppy love and playfulness. He is a lovable puppy who loves snuggles, naps and playing. His favorite place is on your lap. Tank loves playing with toys especially squeaker toys, tug and pull toys and just started chasing balls. But his favorite thing is to snuggle and take naps in your lap.    Tank would do very well with a family. He loves playing and snuggling with his foster kids (ages 11, 13 and 16) and is having amazing naps and movie snuggles with her foster parents. Tank loves playing and keeping up with his brother and also foster dog who is 8.   He is doing really well with his crate and potty training. He happily spends the nights in his kennel and makes it through the night completely dry waking about 7:30 am. He is rocking it during the day as long as he is let out. Tank is doing  well on his leash training and is pretty good at the sit command and the come command. He is motivated by treats in a good way. Anyone would be lucky to call Tank their dog because he is so amazing.   If you're looking for a companion who is both active and affectionate, Tank is the perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a 6yr old, Terrier mix, spayed female and up to date on vaccines/preventatives. She is house trained, kennel trained, and vehicle trained as well. Poppy is a medium energy dog; feisty and likes to socialize BUT she's a little crusty on the outside and super gooey on the inside. She loves her people and her friends; however, you'll need to earn her trust. Poppy can be energetic, plays casually and enjoys sustained games of chase with her friends, on her terms (fun police.) She can get cranky if play becomes too vigorous and she gets pounced on too much/hard. Poppy has a little bit of arthritis, and it can be painful, so she will gladly retreat to the door to let you know she is done with playtime. She is more than willing to go inside, follow you around or curl up, chill, and get her belly rubbed. Being small but mighty, Poppy occasionally has bouts of barking at what she sees moving in the distance and will go zooming up and down the fence line in arousal of anyone/thing approaching; however, she will calm down on her own with minimal intervention from her person. When greeting you, Poppy displays the typical wiggle body and wildly wagging tail. Have you seen how long her tail is?! It waves like a banner over her back and is simply adorable! She may initially hop up to put her feet on you, letting you know she's happy and wants to interact with you, she loves attention and will display a little eagerness to get more loves... so saying her name as she's being petted, and the name of the other dog(s) being petted keeps her content. Noteworthy Behaviors: Poppy displays barrier reactivity with new people/surroundings as a way to express her anxiety in the situation. She will need a person or family, (with older children), who will understand and take their time with her. Once you win her over, she is gold! She is quirky about having her collar touched so she will whine, cower down, and roll to her side. She will display mouthy behavior as you attempt to put a leash on her, but she genuinely wants to go out so don't give up! She will pop right up and head to the door after being leashed!! Key points to consider when adopting Poppy: she is sugar and spice with bursts of energy so great with a laid back and an active family. Honorable mention: Poppy does have a housemate, Sully, who is also up for adoption. If you're looking for two friends, then they are your duo! They would have an easier transition into a new home together but they are not bonded. $200 Local adoption fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area) $50 Fuel temporary fuel surcharge

Story
Hi! I'm Bandit. I'm from Arkansas. Meet Bandit! Bandit is a 5 month old Jack Russell mix. He is about 20 pounds. Bandit is a happy puppy who gets along well with other dogs and kids. Bandit can be shy, but opens up well with consistency and love. From his foster: Bandit is a fun loving pup. He loves his people and will follow you everywhere. His favorite spot is at your feet. He is still learning about new things-but is gaining confidence with new people and pups. He loves walks and exploring the yard. He will stop when he gets distracted in the yard-turkeys, deer, loud birds. Treats are the trick. He sleeps all night in his crate with the door open. He's working at being in his crate when we are gone. He loves to play with one of our dogs but quickly picked up on our older dogs disinterest. He is still working on house training, a schedule works great. He is a very sweet lovable pup, we so enjoy having him here.

Story
Hi! I'm Piggy! I'm from Kansas! Meet Piggy! Piggy is a neutered Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is about 4 years old and 22 pounds. Piggy is a friendly boy who does well with other dogs. This sweet boy was left in a crate on the side of the road and was found by a good samaritan. He is such a good boy and deserves a loving family. Piggy is such a sweet boy. He lives up to his name with his little piggy sniffs and desire to eat. He is food-motivated and doesn't beg or jump. He is well-behaved. He follows me around the house and wants to be in the mix. He rarely barks unless my senior resident riles him up with barking at people passing by. Piggy loves signs of affection and is always looking for a good belly rub, a kiss on the forehead, and a little snuggle. He especially loves to lick my toes and feet to show me how much he cares. Up at the lake, he wasn't interested in swimming and enjoyed running around other dogs and was calm with big, little young, and old dogs. He is curious about cats and didn't chase just wanted to sniff them although they weren't too happy. He is working on crate training but is happy to lay on dog beds, couches, or anywhere soft and fluffy. He is fully potty trained and had no accidents at home or at the cabin.

Story
Hi! I'm Moto and I'm from Kansas! I am 4 years old and 26 pounds. I'm the sweetest thing you'll ever meet! I'm a little on the shy side but if you throw my tennis ball, we'll be best friends immediately! My favorite things are tennis balls and squeaky toys and recently I discovered tennis balls that squeak-BEST. THING. EVER. I also love to be around my humans, if I'm next to you I'll either melt into you or politely request a belly rub! I am working on learning to love my crate, I have house manners, and am dog friendly! My foster recommends I live in a home without shared walls (I'm vocal at times - I have a lot to say!) Facts about this cutie: Tennis balls are LIFE. Belly rubs are a close second. Walks amazing on a leash. A little on the shy side with mediocre energy- will always bring ball back! Great with other dogs!
