Story
Introducing River… our long, lean, goofy 15 lb dreamboat! Meet River, approximately 2 years old and 100% certified silly boy. He’s got that stretch-limousine body (you know the kind—long enough to need its own zip code ) and a playful personality to match. River is the kind of dog who thinks everyone is his friend… because, honestly, everyone is his friend. River’s story started on River Road, where he was sadly dumped and spent about a week running loose. For his safety, we had to humanely trap him, and we are so incredibly grateful that we were able to bring him to safety. Now that River is safe, loved, and thriving, he’s officially on the hunt for his forever home River comes fully loaded with perks: Heartworm negative Neutered Microchipped Current on vaccines & preventions AND he comes with a GeoTag — because even his adventures deserve extra protection. If you’re looking for a happy, goofy, loving companion with a long body and an even bigger heart, River might just be your guy. ##2621432##

Story
This darling little Jack Russell boy is a young 18 month male that weighs 20 pounds and is a solid little love of a dog.  His name is Puppa-Doo and he is an owner surrender that we are seeing far too many of lately.   Who doesn't love a bright and happy to be alive Terrier pup that dances when you come home from a long day at the job.  Puppa-Doo is great family dog just waiting to fit right in when you invite him to come home with you!!!   He is housebroken and will go to door to alert you when he needs to go out. That is a huge plus in most family's check list.  He loves to chase the cat for sport and fun and he will of course do a record demolition destuffing of any weak plush toy.  Oh, how he loves to do that.  And then to keep him responding to sounds, a squeaky toy just makes his soul delight and sore to rapid panting and smiles.  He gets super excited when you play throw the squeaky toy. Puppy-Doo also will play fetch and chase if you want and that is perfect for young children who want a playful dog in their life.  At the end of the day and lots playtime, he likes to give kisses and lay on your lap. . He's a door greeter-both inside the house and when a car pulls up.  He adores love and attention and likes to sit and watch TV when you are there watching it with him. . And if you want a bed buddy then please let him crawl right up there next to you i   He is a great protector and will alert you like a doorbell would and barks when he hears a car on the gravel driveway.  All great and normal dog responsibilities that you want in your family lover and protector. And when someone shows up to visit at the house he runs circles around the outside of the house which is her own personal canine racetrack.  He is active like a JRT should be.  He is made that way.  Crate trained and housebroken and good with other dogs and kids and adults.  What more do you want in a dog and for your lifestyle.   A physically fenced yard or invisible fence would be good to have for this boy.  Safety for your family pet is so important.  If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 23, 2026, 12:30 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Spirit – A Gentle Little Soul Looking for Her Person Spirit is a 14-pound Jack Russell/Poodle mix standing about 15 inches at the shoulder, with the sweetest heart just waiting to fully bloom in the right home. Spirit can be a bit nervous and wary at first. She doesn’t do well with loud or harsh voices, and she needs a patient, gentle person who will give her the time and space to feel safe. But once you earn her trust? She transforms into a happy, tail-wagging little shadow who will follow you from room to room, politely asking for belly rubs.  Once she is more comfortable she likes head and ear massages.  She loves her walks and especially enjoys sniffing adventures. Spirit does well on a leash and rides nicely in the car in her car seat, making her a wonderful little travel buddy. At home, she coexists nicely with cats. If they dash through the house, she may happily join the fun! Her favorite nap spot is curled up in the cats’ donut beds, as cozy as can be. She is crate trained and settles well in her own safe space. Spirit is very food motivated, which makes training easier, but she should not be free fed — she’ll happily sample the cat’s food if given the opportunity! Though she lived with other dogs and has been socialized, she may growl if they invade her personal space until she feels comfortable. Slow, respectful introductions are key. Spirit would thrive in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs and will celebrate the beautiful bond that comes from earning her trust. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, companionship, and the sweetest little tail wags you’ve ever seen. She is up to date with vaccines, spayed, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.  Lovingly fostered in the Bloomsburg Area.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
