Hi there! My name is Aja and this is probably the most difficult thing I’ll have to do, but I am looking to re-home my fur babies. I will be moving to New York in about a year and wanted to give ample time to this process so I can ensure they find the right home(s). Here is a little information about each dog. I would prefer, but don’t require that they go to the same home. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Hubble * Breed: Labradoodle * Age: 4 years old (Birthday 7/13/21) * Size= 50 pounds * Personality= Very Cuddly, Very loyal, Active, Playful * Things to keep in mind:Needs daily exercise, Has allergies (fixed by cytopoint shot with yearly vaccines), Has Rx food for allergies (Hill’s Science z/d kibble), Likes people, but barks at first

Story
Maui is a beautiful, sweet, and silly 100lb Double Doodle (her wisdom panel shows 45% Labrador Retriever, 32% Golden Retriever, 22% Poodle, and 1% Flat-Coated Retriever). She came to SPAR facing life and death, having to undergo her second gastrointestinal surgery. She luckily pulled through the surgery and the weeks of recovery. She had previously had a foreign body removal 6 months prior as a puppy. Maui is looking for a special home. Having already used two (or more) of her spare lives, her body cannot afford another foreign body removal or gastrointestinal surgery. She cannot have access to any toys or anything left out she can chew on (blankets, dog beds, her leash, plastic dog bowls, etc). She sleeps in her kennel at night and is great around other dogs of all sizes. She is learning about cats in her current foster home and might be okay around dog-savvy cats. She would be okay in a home with older kids that understand the safety concerns of leaving things out where Maui can get into them. She has decent leash manners and enjoys going on walks. She is very smart and would love to take additional obedience classes to bond more with her new family. Maui also has already had an incisional gastropexy, so no future risks of GDV, or “bloat”. If you are interested in meeting Maui, please complete the adoption application. We go through a multi-step process for our dogs that includes meeting at the fosters home, a home inspection, and reference checks.

Story
Lucy is an 8-month-old extremely energetic girl. She is very loving and playful. She loves hikes, walks, playing with other dogs, and fetching. She learns quickly, although she is a bit stubborn at first. She has had basic training and knows most common simple commands. She is a great candidate for agility training, as she is able to jump up to 3 feet in the air. She needs a home that can provide her with A LOT of time and activity. She will not do well at home alone. With that you will have a loyal companion who will be by your side and on the couch next to you... just waiting for the next adventure. She is F1 purebred Labrador (blonde) and Poodle (white). She has a beautiful white, fawn, and yellow curly coat. She has a very strong chase instinct. Hence, she may not do well on a ranch or with chickens. She does well with other pets (cats & dogs) and children. She is shy at first but warms up. Lucy will make a wonderful member of a family who loves dogs and can devote time to her

Story
Elsa is the sweetest dog ever! She loves to play with her toys and other friendly dogs, and she was raised with children, although she is still a bit puppy rambunctious when excited and will often jump in your lap to snuggle! She sleeps quietly in her crate for 8 hours, and often longer. We need to rehome her only because we didn't ask the right questions when we adopted her from a busy family about 4 months ago. We travel and are on the go a lot, and we anticipated bringing her with us wherever we went. However, Elsa does not prefer riding in the car and traveling, so we have been boarding her with Rover sitters and she is struggling with a lack of routine when we leave her. We are so sad to have to let her go, but we know that she would thrive and be happy in a home where there is hopefully another dog to play with in the yard and where her people are home most of the time. Adoption fee is to ensure she goes to a good home and includes her crate and all necessities.

These pups are in Elk Grove, California too!

Story
Bishop is a two year old male Labrador. He comes from great hunting lines although not used for that but can be; he’s just a great family dog. He is house-broken, great with kids and very active. He knows all of the basic commands; e.g. sit, down, stay, etc... I hate to give him up but I have two very young kids that keep me busy all the time. I can't give him the love and attention that he deserves.

Story
Ellie is a 8-9 month old Female Labrador Mix. She was adopted at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter when she was about 4 months. Even though a puppy still, she is a large dog weighing 78 lbs. She has that high puppy energy and will need plenty of mental and physical exercise. She is housetrained and knows commands such as stay and sit but it's not always 100%. She currently goes on walks with a Prong Collar as she is still also learning to listen and heel on walks. She is the only pet in the house, so we don't know for sure how she will do with other dogs or pets, but she does get highly excited or barks when she sees other dogs, cats, or animals. The preferred rehome would be with someone that has experience with dogs, will be patient with her as she will need training and socialization, and plenty of chew toys as she is still in the chewing/mouthy phase. Unfortunately, these are things we can not provide to her and am looking for someone who can. Crate, Play Pen, & Bed included.

Story
Hi! I'm Prince Charming, 2 years old and the handsomest fellow around, but I'm not all just looks! I'm super sweet, smart, and very playful too. I'm a bit shy with other dogs, but could do well with slow introductions. I love to meet new people though! I am also an active guy and enjoy my walks and outside activity. If you're looking for the best family dog ever, look no further and ask staff to meet me outside! (: Interested in adopting?
