Story
We picked up Summer from a breeder in Pennsylvania. She is about to turn 7 years old. We picked up her brother Ocho from the same breeder (same parents) 1 year later, so he is about to turn 6 years old. I’m looking for a home for these dogs where they can get a lot of attention. They love to play with each other, follow their owner around, and go for walks together. They are snuggly and playful and good with kids.

Story
*Name: Cinnamon *Age: 1 year old  *Current Weight: 40 lbs  *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Cinnamon is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart without ever demanding the spotlight. This sweet girl is very shy at first and takes her time learning to trust, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving nature truly shines. She absolutely loves other dogs and finds so much comfort and confidence in having a canine companion by her side. A home with a friendly, patient dog would be her dream come true and will help her continue to blossom. Cinnamon is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can move at her own pace and feel secure—because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. Loud environments just aren’t her style, but give her peace, patience, and love, and you’ll watch her slowly come out of her shell in the most beautiful way. If you believe the best bonds are the ones built with time, trust, and a little bit of magic… Cinnamon might just be your perfect match!  IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2628520##

Story
Meet me at 348 Old Colony Rd. Eastford, CT Coco is a sweet Labradoodle who loves to run, play, and stay active. She enjoys other dogs, though she can be a bit more dominant in play, so a more submissive dog friend would be her best match. Coco would truly thrive in a home with lots of land or space to stretch her legs and burn off energy. She’s the perfect blend of smart, social, and playful, ready to bring joy to an active family Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

Story
Meet Toffee, a super sweet ~1 year old spayed female shepherd/cur mix with the prettiest light brindle coloring that looks like tiger stripes ! She weighs about 40 lbs. Toffee was picked up as a stray in east TN and is currently being fostered in New England while she waits to find her furever home! Toffee is a gentle, loving, affectionate, playful girl. She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is a total love! She is great with people, kids, and other medium/large dogs. She loves kids! Toffee has not been cat tested. Toffee can do a 1 week foster to adopt trial with an approved adopter so you can see how she settles in before committing to adoption. From Toffee's foster: "Toffee is the most polite pup I’ve ever met! I feed her with my dogs, she waits her turn - doesn’t go for any other bowl. I’m impressed! She’s such a sweet girl." Toffee is medically up to date, housebroken (expect accidents first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this special pup today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2614770##

Story
Meet Bonnie and Leelo, a bonded pair! Bonnie is a small terrier mix (~7 yrs old and 15 lbs) and Leelo is a small poodle mix (~14 yrs old and 23 lbs). Both are femailes and are very sweet! They are currently in TN and are expected to arrive in CT in July. We are accepting applications for them now! They need to be adopted and kept together as a bonded pair. Their foster said, "Both are loving and sweet! They love car rides and walks, are fully up-to-date on vaccines and spayed. They had dentals every year before being surrendered to us. They are housebroken and crate trained however they do cry at first when they go in the crate. They do well with cats, kids and other dogs but they prefer dogs their size. Bonnie seems to be a little frightened by bigger dogs." They are medically up to date and spayed.
