Story
Hello, Delilah is a playful and lovey dog, she loves belly rubs and treats. She is ultimately a very good dog and it breaks my heart but sadly she and her sister developed littermate syndrome, despite our best efforts we have not been able to reverse this. It is my opinion Delilah would do best in a home with NO other animals, or small children (under 10 years) she loves to run around and play outside so a yard for her would be necessary. She is fully potty trained, spayed, up to date on all shots and ready for her new forever home. She is somewhat leash trained but does pull a lot. Someone with prior experience with dogs would be best for her. We love her very much and want to see her go to a home she will be loved and adored. If you're interested fill out an application and I will reach out within 24 hours. Thank you!

Story
Meet Sprocket! Sprocket is a handsome and unique-looking Labradoodle who resembles a smaller Irish Wolfhound. This 1.5-year-old, 57-pound boy was found as a stray in Detroit and sadly was never reclaimed, but he is now safe and ready to find a family to call his own. Sprocket is a quiet, more reserved dog who may take a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loyal personality really begins to shine. He has a calm presence but still enjoys staying active and would do best with a family that can provide regular exercise and engagement. In his foster home, Sprocket has done well with dogs his size and similar energy level, though he may be a bit much for smaller breed dogs. He has shown little interest in cats and could potentially live with dog-savvy cats with proper, slow introductions. Due to his size and demeanor, he would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children. Sprocket has a great foundation and has been working hard on his manners. He is crate trained, demonstrates a good understanding of house manners, knows basic commands, and rides well in the car. He is also quite intelligent and has learned how to open certain doors—especially sliding doors—which may explain how he ended up as a stray. Because of this, his future home will need to be mindful of keeping doors secure. Sprocket would thrive in an active home with either a securely fenced yard or a committed daily walking routine. He is not a good candidate for an invisible fence or tether system. As a Labradoodle, he will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Sprocket is a special dog with a gentle, thoughtful nature who is just waiting for the right family to help him fully come out of his shell. With patience, structure, and love, he will make a loyal and devoted companion. Sprocket is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedScheduled for neuter surgery at our partner veterinary hospital.ADOPTION FEE: $375 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. ##2687696##

Carter is a handsome black lab mix who is full of life. He loves attention and taking walks. He is doing very well with his gentle leader training. He came to us as an abandoned dog with a large growth hanging from his side. That was removed and found to be a cyst. He has a large scar because of it. He is a happy guy who is food motivated. Story
Storm is a guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He loves people and craves attention from anyone who is willing to give it to him. He has a confident demeanor and likes to spend time taking walks. He tires fairly easily because of his weight, therefore, he needs a lot more walking! Storm has been learning to walk using a gentle leader which helps tremendously. With proper care and exercise, he can shed those extra pounds and become a healthier pup. Storm is a lovable and loyal companion who just needs a little extra help to reach his full potential. He needs to be an only dog.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Bella is a sweet, gentle old gal with a heart as soft as her favorite blanket. She’s a champion snuggler, a professional napper, and a lover of all things cozy. Her arthritic joints mean she’s not built for speed anymore, but she’s perfected the art of slow, happy living. She comes from a loving home where she’s always known comfort, kindness, and the “good life.” Her owner is moving into a nursing home, and while it’s a sad change, Bella is ready to bring her quiet warmth to a new family. She’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates peaceful days, soft ears to scratch, and the gentle joy of an old friend by your side.
