Story
Hello, our 18 month old Lab/cattle dog mix is in need of rehoming. As much as it breaks my heart to do this she has begun to show signs of littermate syndrome. I kept her and her sister from the litter they were born from and Delilah will try to fight with her sister. I have tried everything I know to correct this situation but sadly I have not been able to restore peace amongst this pack. I am looking for someone who preferably doesnt have any other animals at all. Delilah is a very sweet, snuggly dog and she wants to be the center of attention. For this reason it is mine and my vets opinion she would do best in a home with no other animals. She is fully potty trained, eats Iams puppy food, and loves her chew toys and bones. On her own she is an amazing dog, with so much love to give, I want to see her happy and thriving so ideally someone who has experience with dogs who understands the transitions she will be making. It doesn't let me put her current weight but she is 52.2lbs.

Story
Meet Roxie! Roxie’s story is one of incredible resilience and hope. She was found trapped in a pit of wet cement, nearly defeated as she struggled to escape the heavy, unforgiving grasp of the concrete. Thanks to the bravery and kindness of a Good Samaritan, Roxie was rescued and brought to our care. After multiple baths and lots of TLC, we finally removed the cement that nearly took her life. Despite the hardship she’s endured, Roxie is a sweet, social, and happy girl. Estimated to be about 1 year old and weighing 23 lbs, she’s believed to be a mini Labradoodle. Roxie is thriving in her foster home but is ready to find a loving forever family to call her own. She will need an active family as she is still working on her manners and likes to jump up. She has typical puppy energy and will need the means for running off that energy, preferably in the confinement of a physical fenced yard. She could benefit from training, much like any adolescent pup. Roxie gets along well with other dogs and has met a cat without any issues. She would likely do well with older dog-savvy children who understand her gentle, yet puppy-like nature. Roxie is just beginning to discover the joys of toys and what it means to be a cherished family pet. She’s currently learning crate training and mastering her house manners, making great progress with routines. Roxie is also working on walking nicely on a leash—still a work in progress, but she’s eager to learn! Overall, Roxie is a wonderful girl with so much love to give. She deserves a caring, patient home that will continue to help her grow and thrive. Could that be with you? If you’re interested in meeting Roxie and giving her the furever home she so deserves, please consider applying!  Roxie is:Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and RabiesDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedSpayedADOPTION FEE: $350 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI. We process applications ONLY - there is no guarantee that you will get a response to an inquiry. Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal’s temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. Story
Meet Charlee! Charlee is a charming Labradoodle, born on December 26, 2024, weighing 46lbs of lovable puppy energy. He was surrendered along with his brother Cain when their owner was no longer able to care for them. Charlee really enjoys the company of his brother and would thrive best in a home with Cain — or at least with another friendly dog companion. Charlee has lived with children as young as 6 years old and gets along well with cats and other dogs, making him a great fit for a family environment. He is crate trained and has demonstrated good house manners, showing he’s eager to learn and please. While Charlee is still working on his leash walking skills, a physically fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely burn off some of that puppy energy. This sweet boy will require regular grooming to keep his beautiful coat in top shape. Charlee needs an active family who can keep up with his playful spirit and provide plenty of love, exercise, and training as he grows. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate Labradoodle and have room in your heart, Charlee would love to meet you!   Ready for your new best friend? Storm is a guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He loves people and craves attention from anyone who is willing to give it to him. He has a confident demeanor and likes to spend time taking walks. He tires fairly easily because of his weight, therefore, he needs a lot more walking! Storm has been learning to walk using a gentle leader which helps tremendously. With proper care and exercise, he can shed those extra pounds and become a healthier pup. Story
I have videos!!! Surrendered by a family whose son turned out to be allergic to pets, Isla (pronounced “eye-la”) uses her sandy-white coat and black-framed, sea-green eyes to show you why she is named for the Scottish word for “island.” Her mom was a German Shepherd/Lab mix; dad was a traveling man. Lack of socialization left Isla wary of strangers, and she’s a little worried and antsy at first; but she comes around with a visitor's patience and time and is ready to play fetch with a "Frisbee" or ball. She has a high prey drive, so testing would be needed before adoption to a family that already has a cat. Highly food motivated, she walks happily on a leashed “sniff and stroll” through the woods, responds promptly to “sit”, and is doing well learning other commands. She is great at bath and nail-trim time with her former foster (a professional groomer) but uneasy at vet appointments. We are working to discourage jump-ups. At 2.5 years old and weighing 49 pounds, she is already house-trained (she lived happily with a family of dad, mom, two teenage boys and a toddler), crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and monthly parasite preventatives. Her easy-care coat and playful attitude with other dogs add to her list of assets. She would love to have another family of her own! https://youtu.be/6pmyBBgp2fY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns the "release" commandhttps://youtu.be/Z1BDW5nXN_U / FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns not to play with slip lead!https://youtu.be/c9mb7HEdpM4 FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays ball by herself!https://youtu.be/hEaDsFgvnok FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla goes on a Stroll&Sniffhttps://youtu.be/yqmXoKIPhxM FOCCAS adoptable dog checks out a big turkeyhttps://youtu.be/3Mw0_JK3RTY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays fetch and practices "Leave it"FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
