Story
Meet our tiny tripod-in-training (don’t worry—he’s keeping all four legs!) 🐾 This sweet 3-month-old pup is recovering like a champ from his FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery and is ready to wiggle his way into a home that can help him finish his comeback story. He’s playful, snuggly, and blissfully unaware that he’s been through anything major—he just knows he loves toys, treats, and people! Over the next few weeks, he’ll need your help to continue therapy exercises. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, most FHO pups go on to live active, happy lives—and this sweet boy is well on his way! 💙 -Around 3.5 months old -Currently under 15lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Story
Hi! I am looking to find a loving, responsible and happy home for my dog Star, a beautiful, spayed, 70lb black lab pit mix who turned 7 on June 23. She’s youthful, healthy, sweet, and energetic! (aka “Star Puppy”) Star loves being around people (she will want to be your best friend!) She is very active—walking, running, swimming, playing in the snow, sunbathing, sniffing, and fetching! She enjoys some alone time, but is usually ready to play. Star is house trained, leash trained, and respectful of humans’ property and food. Though she’s 7, she can still be trained to do almost anything with some simple treats and consistency! She is always excited to learn. A fenced in yard is great for Star. I think Star needs someone who can play with her, take her on walks, and help her feel at home.

Story
Blue is a sweet senior Lab who deserves a calm and patient home. He has some challenges: he experiences anxiety, especially when there are loud noises like a crying baby, he can be incontinent when he gets nervous, and he can be an escape artist. For these reasons, he needs a quiet home with someone experienced with dogs who understands anxiety and senior care. Despite his special needs, he is incredibly loyal and loves affection. He is happiest when he is calm and feels safe, and he’ll be a loving companion to the right person who can give him the attention and care he deserves.

Story
Hey my name is Kodak! I am an active dog looking for an owner willing to offer me the patience and time I need to adjust to my forever home. I can be nervous meeting new people, but once I am acquainted with you, I am quite the energizer bunny. Lots of exercise and enrichment and a routine will help me thrive, so let`s stay busy together! I would love to meet potential dog siblings before I go home, so meet me first at the shelter and then ask the staff about arranging a doggie playdate. I look forward to meeting you to show you just how great I am!
