Story
Rebel is a good dog that loves being pet and loves attention. He is smart and easily trainable, he also has separation anxiety. We recently moved to one of those luxury rental communities that are pet friendly. However, since we have been here for 3 weeks we have received a complainant every week about Rebel's excessive barking during the day when we are at work. Therefore, management has asked us to find a solution about Rebel's barking or they will evict us for breaking the rules and regulations of our contract. My wife is giving birth Monday, therefore we can not lose our home or afford to break our lease. So I figured finding him a better home where he has room to run around and be happy would be better than our 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo. Rebel is easily trainable and very smart, he barely barks when we are home, but we can not control when we go to work. I refuse to muzzle our sedate him when we are gone so he doesn't bark, he is a dog and barks, that is what dogs do.

Meet Lilo! I’m a stunning 2-year, 9-month-old female Labradoodle, weighing 65 pounds and rocking a soft, wiry brown coat with adorable white “boots” on my feet! People often ask if I have some Wirehaired Pointer in me because of my unique look—but I’m told I’m just a beautifully wiry Labradoodle. I’m sweet, social, and absolutely love people and other dogs. Whether it’s playtime with furry friends or cuddle time with my humans, I’m always ready to bring joy and affection wherever I go. I’m spayed, fully up to date on my vaccinations, and microchipped—so I’m all set and ready to find my forever home! Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Meet and greets are done via video chat after an approved application has been submitted. Complete an application for her at recycleddogsrescue.org if interested!

Story
Long Island NY Presenting Max! Maxs foster mom here! Max is an almost 3-year-old labradoodle. Usually I foster kittens in kitten season summers but I could leave this boy in his previous situation. Underneath his matter fur, Max turned out to be a gorgeous labradoodle. He a big gentle boy who loves everyone he meets. Weve been working together on his obedience training and leash manners for the past 3 months and hes doing fantastic! He's a big silly goofball that loves walks and cuddles alike! He knows basic commands (sit, down, paw, other paw, come, stop, wait, working on leave it) He walks great on his leash and is both collar and harness trained. You may have seen us walking around the Lynbrook area as we get him ready for his new forever home. Max was recently neutered at the LI Spay and Neuter Clinic (love them!) and is getting his final vaccines 07/02/2025. He will be adopted out with his medical records, crate and everything used to prepare him for success in his forever home.

These pups are in Spring Lake, New Jersey too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Meet Gemma, a beautiful 3-year-old Husky/Lab mix. Gemma was surrendered to our rescue (through no fault of her own) and the transition to shelter life was understandably difficult for her. Gemma was confused and insecure so she spent a few weeks with our trainer on building trust and confidence so she could once again be the happy, sweet girl she has always been. Gemma is very friendly, loving and affectionate. She’s a silly girl with a playful personality who loves belly rubs, long walks, and giving kisses. She is professionally trained and knows lots of commands. She is housebroken and crate trained. Gemma is a perfect combination - has plenty of energy to go for walks, but is a calm, well-mannered couch potato in the house! Gemma is looking for an adult home where she will be given the time she needs to gain trust and confidence in her new home. It won’t take long, and wow…you will have a loyal and loving companion by your side! Gemma is dog-friendly too!  She’s microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to meet Gemma, please fill out an application on our website and Rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet.        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2025, 11:51 am

Huck (black) and Finn ( fawn) are friendly and playful. Not bonded so do not need to go home together but they would sure love the company. Their idea of a perfect day is to go outside and run around and then come in to be by your side.   If you are interested in either or both text 732-546-8805 and we will get back to you with the family contact details. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Nevada! If you are looking for a true snuggle bug then here she is! Poor Nevada (previously named Nellie) must have had a rough life. She has scars all over her body but that does not change her inner beauty and she is a lovely, ~8 to 10 yrs. old medium-size mixed breed sweetheart. Nevada LOVES to play with her toys and will share them nicely with you. She takes food, treats, and toys gently, loves to sun-bathe in the play yard, and loves to go for walks. She is strong on the leash but loves her walks. Nevada knows some commands and is a willing participant. This girl wants nothing more than to relax in a quieter side home with adults or older children. Best as your one and only pet in the home and will shower you with love. Won't you please be her forever person or family? Please apply to adopt Nevada at Rescueridge.com and if your application is a possible match a volunteer will get back to you shortly.
