Meet Teddy Bear, a 11-month-old, 70 -ish lb (and still growing) German Shepherd/Doodle mix with the personality to match his adorable name! Teddy is friendly, loving, and social with just about everyone—dogs, kids, adults, men, women, and even the elderly. He’s a happy, well-rounded pup who fits right into any household that’s ready for snuggles, playtime, and lots of love. Teddy is a big cuddle bug who absolutely melts for affection. If you’re petting him, he’s in heaven—he loves belly rubs, head scratches, and will happily curl right up next to you. He’s equally enthusiastic about toys and can keep himself entertained for hours, especially with something fun to chew. This sweet boy has excellent training under his belt thanks to a board-and-train program. He walks beautifully on leash with his prong/e-collar, knows a long list of commands (Sit, Down, Leave It, Wait/Stay, Go to Place, Go to Crate, Go Potty, Calm Down, Safety, Drop It), and picks up new skills fast. He’s crate trained, house trained, and travels well in the car. Teddy isn’t a resource guarder and doesn’t have any known sensitivities—he’s easygoing, cooperative, and great with handling. Energy-wise, Teddy is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. He loves his walks, loves the outdoors, and enjoys playing with other dogs, but he also appreciates downtime and will happily lounge around once he’s gotten his energy out. Rocky was 4 months old when I received him as a gift for Christmas in 2023. My son and I fell in love with him and he easily become apart of the family. We have since taken multiple road trips to Virginia for family gatherings and vacations. Rocky is loving and energetic, he gets along just fine with my 4 year old cat and loves children. Rocky needs the time attention that I honestly do not have. I am A Registered Nurse in NYC and my 15 year old is involved in many activities. I feel guilty about not having the space in our apartment for him to run about freely. I would be so happy if a family with kids, preferably with some outdoor space is able to take my baby in.

She arrived at the shelter with her 8 newborn puppies, only a few days old, and spent the last 9 weeks selflessly nursing them into the healthy, happy pups they are today. Now that her job is done, it's finally her time to be the one taken care of. We're not sure of her breed mix, she might be a little bit of everything, but what we do know is she's 100% heart. Mable walks beautifully on leash and appreciates the calm things in life. What she needs now is a peaceful home, a cozy bed, and someone to show her the love she so freely gave to her puppies.
