Meet Beau! Breed: Labradoodle  Estimated DOB: 02/12/2024 Sex: Male - neutered Weight: 35-40 lbs Currently Up to day on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about: - Rescued from Mississippi as a stray- He adores everyone in his foster home, including men. He hasn’t been around young children yet - He was friendly with a calm neighbor, showing his belly for rubs.- Beau is a wonderful dog but needs time to adjust to being loved. He shuts down when uncomfortable and needs to be carried to different places. He loves food and accepts affection, including belly rubs.- Beau has a big personality in a small, adorable body. He loves getting petted and is willing to give and accept affection despite his past. He does a cute dance when he wants to be fed and prances with his front paws, hinting at a goofy side once he's more comfortable.- Quiet and just a good boy- Beau goes into the crate at his leisure during the day. At night, he sleeps on a dog bed but will eventually transition to the crate for sleeping- Housebreaking is going well. He's learning to go outside and improving each day - Dog friendly - Has not been assessed with cats yet - Beau is making great progress and will likely grow in confidence and dog-like behavior. He loves attention and food, which will help him trust more. He enjoys being inside and a comfy dog bed in a quiet corner. A playful, trustworthy dog for interaction might help his progress further.- Looking for loving and committed forever homes to provide them with the care and love they deserve Learn more and apply to adopt at TLCrescuePA.com/adopt Interested in fostering? Story
Greggy and Gracie are 5-month-old (Born approximately January 15, 2024) black lab mixes that weigh approximately 25-30 lbs each. These pups LOVE to smile. They are so carefree and happy pups; they don’t know that nobody wants them yet. They are the happiest, most friendliest puppies you will meet. These 2 pups LOVE life and everyone they meet, kids and adults, men and women. Greggy and Gracie are the definition of perfection. They are very smart, they’re eager to learn, super playful, beyond loving, gentle, snuggly, entertaining and ready to be in their forever homes. Somebody messaged us regarding these 2 pups that were found wandering around their house in a rural part of south Texas. They think somebody dumped them. Black dogs are not easy to adopt out, but we hope you will see past their color, and see their beautiful personalities. These pups are very smart. Within a short time, they have learned a few commands and with time, will definitely be able to master and learn more. They are super eager to learn. They aim to please and one of their only goals in life is to please their humans. Gracie and Greggy would do wonderful with all ages of children, as they have your typical gentle demeanor of a lab. They love other dogs and would do great in a home with other dogs or in a home alone. They have been introduced to cats and they don’t show any interest in them. They are still working on house training, but with proper stimulation, training and exercise, will have no issues mastering it. Adoption fee includes: Spay or neuter, current negative heart worm test, current parvo/distemper vaccines, bordatella (kennel cough), rabies vaccination, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormer, microchip, health certificate from a veterinarian, and transport costs from Texas to the East coast. TO APPLY TO ADOPT: Please fill out an application on our website to adopt: www.ruraltank.org/adopt Most of our animals are located in Texas unless otherwise specified at the top of their bio. They are available for transport once adopted – There are different companies we use, all are USDA licensed. We have transport companies that can go directly to your door (this option costs slightly more, but it’s a smaller transport and more one on one care). This company can go as far as the Canadian border along the east coast. We use larger companies who are just as fantastic, this transport is included in the adoption fee, but they meet at general stops along the route, depending on where adopters are located for that specific transport. Most transports have stops in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Once you are an approved adopter, we can put you in touch with the foster to learn more about the animal if you'd like and we will go over more specifics on transport options and dates. Transports generally leave every 1-3 weeks.
We'll also keep you updated on Gracie's adoption status with email updates.
