Story
Drake is a really good 8 1/2 year old dog with tons of energy although he does like to sit down after running for 10 minutes but he’s always been lazy that way from a pup. He is very easy going, loves rubs and very loving. He has a few lumps on his body but we’ve learned this is common with labradoodles. He does have a sensitivity to grass so he can’t eat any without getting sick. He has never been on table food and sticks to a strict diet because his tummy doesn't like rapid food changes. He had recent eye surgery to remove some masses but he has recovered and only has a slight bump over one eye. The kids are grown and gone and I travel a lot so he’s boarded more than I’d like. He loves it and enjoys going to daycare but it gets expensive. I’d desire fostering first before adoption.

Story
Luna is a 4.5 year old very special loving labradoodle. She is my bestfriend and it is the most important thing to me that she goes to a loving home. My family is a military family and unfortunately with every move Luna’s separation anxiety has worsened. She will be your shadow. She’s currently staying at my mom’s house to prevent another move across the country. With that being said she does require a lot of attention. She would thrive with a homebody type of family. She does not do well being left more than 6 hours at a time. She would require an at home dog sitter to stay with her if you travel. She wouldn’t do well with just drop ins, staying at a sitters, or boarding. She also requires lots of upkeep, grooming every 6 weeks, constant cleaning of her ears to prevent infections, and hot spot prevention. Overall you can’t find a more loving dog, with a big personality, many would say human like, she just needs a super stable home with LOTS of love and attention.

Story
Meet Reece! Reece is 7-8 months old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home with you! If we were allowed to use the word “Lab” as an adjective, noun, and verb, we would describe him as the labbiest lab to ever lab. Reece loves water (splashing in it, swimming in it, drinking it, etc), meeting new people, playing with other dogs, fetching after his stuffed cow toy, finding sunny spots to sunbathe in, and going for long walks. He is doing well with crate training, house training, and leash walking. Like any puppy, it will be your responsibility to keep working with him on these things but we believe he is well on his way to being an excellent dog. Reece is a super lovable goofball that will fit in well to any active home. He has a great “off switch” and enjoys curling up on the rug nearby and watching whatever you are doing. He has not lived with cats before but we believe he would be fine with a proper introduction and supervision. His biggest vices are overexcitement when passing other dogs on walks and crying in the crate at night so please be ready to address those with him. Once he settles in the crate, he will sleep 8+ hours. This guy has a big golden heart and can’t wait to meet you! Reece has lived with kids 5 and older and did very well with them. We would not recommend kids younger than that at this time. He would prefer a home with another dog to play with but it is not necessary as long as you are active and willing to play with him and walk him.

Story
My name is Bella and a 5.5 month old lab mix. I am up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, and already spayed! This has been a lucky week for me having been picked up by Peak Lab Rescue and fostered. They called me skinny when I first arrived, but I have been increasing my weight by a 1/2 lb each day now that I’m am getting fed without distractions. I’m not shy and love to greet people and hang out with my foster parents. They could actually call me shadow, as I do follow my foster mom everywhere (as you never know when she is going to give me a treat). If you like going for walks, I am a great companion as I am very good on a leash meaning I stay by your side and don’t pull. But I can and do stop to smell the flowers now and then. So far I have picked up on commands of Stay, Down and Sit and I sleep through the night in my crate. However, I must admit, I don’t go in the crate completely unassisted. As to naps, I prefer taking a nap on the chair next to my foster mom while she is working. I don’t chew furniture, but once in a while like a chew toy to play with and especially loive playing fetch. My foster mom was so impressed that I always bring the ball back to her so she can take the ball from my mouth. I must have some retriever in me, as I know how to gently hold the ball.
