Each pet is evaluated upon arrival, and throughout their stay, at the Animal Center and we do our best to place the animal in the setting most appropriate for them. Sometimes, they may be better served through one of our Transfer Partners due to the intervention needed, ongoing care required or a quieter setting for that individual. This sweet girl is a beautiful 2-year-old chocolate Labradoodle with a playful personality and a lot of love to give. I originally got her from a breeder in Greensboro, North Carolina when she was just a puppy, and she has grown into an incredibly smart and energetic dog. She loves being active, playing, and spending time around people. Labradoodles are known for their intelligence, and she definitely lives up to that. She picks up on things quickly and enjoys attention, interaction, and staying busy. Because she’s such a loving and social dog, I’m looking for a home that will give her plenty of attention, warmth, and care. She would do best with a family or individual who can spend time with her, keep her engaged, and make her feel comfortable and loved. She truly has a great personality and a big heart, and I just want to find a household where she can continue to thrive and be part of a caring environment.

With her sweet white “sock” markings on her feet and her soft, hopeful eyes, this young adult Lab/Retriever mix is impossible not to root for. At a perfect 34 pounds, she’s a wonderful medium size — easy to snuggle, easy to adventure with, easy to love. She’s still working on gaining a little weight, but don’t worry… she’s taking her recovery very seriously. Winifred never says no to treats and has become quite the connoisseur of peanut butter–stuffed Kongs. Volunteers at Saving Grace are happily spoiling her with snacks, belly rubs, and all the affection she can handle — and she soaks it up with tail wags and gratitude. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter with a ridiculously loving family who will continue to cherish and pamper her the way she deserves. This girl is pure heart — and she’s ready to give it all to you.

Working the camera....working the camera....looking good...you might have to make an appointment with Drake's publicist if he keeps looking this handsome since GQ is likely to be coming for him soon. Drake is a retriever mixed with something xtra handsome who sports a chocolate brindly coat and a tail that twirls around in a Q who walks on a leash like he is royalty and acts the gentleman like that too. Drake does well with other dogs and has a nice medium energy level. He is social, likes to be on the move and will surely be willing to accompany you wherever as he is confident and outgoing. Drake could settle with another dog and would be fine solo as well. This hottie is ISO his biggest fans and furever family so don't miss out on this whole package.
