Story
My parents have to move. They will not be able to bring Frida with them as they are downsizing and will no longer have a yard to accommodate a dog her size. She is 4yrs old and a loving part of our family. She is an only dog, but very much enjoys the company of other dogs as she frequents doggie daycare and is naturally a social butterfly. Willing to please and ready to play, she will be a great addition to your family!!

Story
Introducing Goose, the epitome of canine charm and affection. This delightful pup stole our hearts when we adopted him at seven months old, but unfortunately, we're facing the heart-wrenching reality of having to find him a new home. From day one, Goose has been a cuddly, curious soul who effortlessly charms everyone he meets, whether they have two legs or four. His easygoing nature extends to his interactions with other pets and children, making him a beloved member of any household. Despite our best efforts, we're unable to continue providing Goose with the care and attention he deserves. As we prepare to welcome our first child into the world, juggling the needs of two dogs has become more than we can handle. Goose, with his ever-growing need for training and guidance, deserves someone who can offer him the time and resources to thrive. While we've successfully crate trained him, Goose still struggles with potty training, which has become increasingly challenging for us to manage.

Story
Alphie is the sweetest boy. If you like snuggles, he’s got you! He loves to go for walks and is very active. Alphie does not thrive in an apartment unfortunately. He is extremely loving and does so well with positive reinforcement vs aggressive discipline. He’s a jumper so some training there will be needed. I’m pretty sure when he jumps, he’s showing affection. You will need a lot of toys for him to chew on. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him, but a different and more suitable environment is what he is in need of. He is very loyal and soon to become your best friend.

Story
Almost a year ago we adopted a labradoodle from my husband’s sister as she was going to take him to a shelter because her mental health was impacting her ability to care for him. We gave her a third of what she paid to save him from going there. Fast forward to now, we just don’t have as much time to commit to him as we thought. We have a young child and busy work schedules. We are moving soon and need to find him a good home. He’s great with kids. His sister did have a cat. Never had an accident in the house. Will sleep in a crate at night. He has a lot of energy and is social (typical labradoodle) and needs someone who has space for him to play and be goofy. Someone who can help him be a little more trained when it comes to listening and walking on a leash. We are trying to train our actual human child right now and just need to have him someone who has the time. He’s 1.5 years old. Approx 75 lbs. Fixed. Up to date on shots. On flea, tick, and heartworm meds. He’s very sweet.

These pups are in Wake Forest, North Carolina too!

Story
Meet Frisky, an exceptionally well-behaved houseguest! He refrains from jumping, counter surfing, or engaging in unwanted activities in the house. He spends most of his day napping on various beds and is crated only at night. Although he may not love entering the crate initially, once inside, he remains quiet and calm. The only sound you hear is his tail wagging so hard against the crate when he sees you! Frisky has excellent potty manners and knows to use the bathroom outside. He walks well on a leash and behaves well during car rides, although he may need some encouragement to get in and out. In the presence of his foster's senior dog, Frisky closely follows and appears eager to play, adjusting well to corrections. While he hasn't officially met the resident cat, his interest suggests potential compatibility, but a face-to-face introduction is recommended. Frisky is a super wiggly people lover, and his foster mom states he's the most well-behaved foster she's ever had. This sweetheart will make an amazing pet for a very lucky adopter. Come meet him today!

Story
*** CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON-SITE *** This beautiful young girl is a just a little shy at first, takes a day or so to get settled in and then becomes your best friend. She is cute & playful, loves to chase a laser light around, play tug and will often entertain herself rolling a ball around. Crate trained, 99% housebroken, learning basic manners, getting used to leash walking and car rides, she quickly learned the household routine/rules even with a house full of distractions and will be a champion with some one-on-one training. Nutter likes to play with other dogs and gets nervous around other energetic puppies & protective when new dogs crowd around her. She does best meeting 1 at a time and once she feels safe, she will follow them all over. One of Nutter's most favorite things to do is snuggle up next to her person or favorite dog mate. She is an excellent cuddler! She is a happy, loving girl that wants nothing more than a happy, loving person or family to call her own. *Weekend Host feedback: "She loves to be close to you and always rests her head on you". She will allow you to pick her up, and doesn't mind being harnessed or leashed". "She goes right into her crate without complaint". "She was completely oblivious of our cat". Recent Weekend Host commented: "She quickly warmed up to both new people and new dogs." "She was very playful with our two dogs but also takes dog social cues well. " "jumped into the car on her own for adventures! " "Nutter is a great eater and seems very food motivated which would bode well for training!"
