You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 05/30/2022 “I like big dogs, and I cannot lie”  Hello, my name is Peach/Peaches/Peachie, I will respond to any of the above. Just like the fruit, I can be sweet and bitter. I am such a cuddly happy girl who loves to play, go on adventures, go on walks, and even cuddle with you in your lap or at your feet. To get to know me, you must know a little bit about my past...I was adopted in 2022 but recently returned due to some issues I was having in my past home. This is time to address my bitter side. I am a resource guarder when it comes to food/treats/bones but only to those on my level (little kids, cats/dogs). I have had no issues with adults and older kids when it comes to this. I wasn't always like this, but something happened in my old home that triggered this resource aggression. I have not bitten or hurt anyone at all, but I will growl and snap at dogs/cats/little kids who come near my food/treats/bones. I still play well with others and would do fine living in a house with dog and cat friends, but best if I wasn't in a home with little kids. I am smart, playful, have manners, and am well-trained, I am just quirky. My foster mom has had no issues with me or handling my food/treats/bones. I will say she has experience in managing resource guarders, but it truly is not difficult to manage. One of my foster moms' personal dogs is resource aggressive too, and that doggie eats her goodies in her crate by herself too, with no issue, and she happily coexists with other doggies and cats when away from those things, much like me! I feel safe in my crate and I prefer to eat my food/treats/bones in my own space away from others (dogs/cats/little kids). This is a really confusing time for me with all the changes that have happened after 2.5 years of being comfy and cozy in what I thought was my forever home. This is all new to me, new people, new foster siblings, new routine, why did my world have to change?   I am looking for someone who will be patient and understand me and my needs, even better if you have experience with resource guarding. I am a wonderful companion and I know I will make someone very happy. If you are interested in meeting me or adopting me, please fill out an application and I promise we will make some SWEET memories together.  Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Adoption Fee:  $100.00  (AF/KG*)     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 7, 2025, 9:45 pm
