Piper is a CKC registered Labradoodle. She loves to cuddle and get affection from her owners. She enjoys playing with balls the most but also loves her frisbee. Piper loves to play ball and run around outside. She loves to check in with her owner for pets and good job before her next lap. Piper would be best with active parents or where she has a yard to play in. She is good with other dogs and children. She would need patient introduction to cats as they are new to her. Piper is completely trained. She is crate trained for when the owner leaves the house. She knows all basic commands and is good off leash in a controlled environment. She does best on her harness but can be collar walked. Piper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. She also gets monthly preventative medication. This includes flea & tick and heartworm. She does require regular teeth brushing to keep her teeth clean.

I lived in a hole outside with about 80 other dogs. My life was strictly having puppies and trying to survive. I also was missing a lot of hair. If you want to see what I did look like, go to my last picture. I'm much happier now. I have all my hair back. My foster mommy says I am uber sweet but need some confidence. I didn't really know a person until I came here so I can be a little shy. I do need a home with a fenced backyard. Since I am shy, I prefer to have my own space when I go potty or walk around. Don't get me wrong though, my favorite place to be is inside in my crate. I like being around my foster parents. I will run from my crate to be with them then run back to my kennel. I will do this until I'm tired. Maybe those are those zoomie things I hear people talking about. When I'm not with foster mommy or daddy my favorite past time is destroying toys. I love to take all the stuffing out and show my foster parents how proud I am. I think they want me to be the fastest toy destroyer ever! Foster mommy said when I went on the leash to the vet, I did better than she ever expected. I still don't love that place though. They have pointy thingy's there. I think they are called needles. My ideal home would be with one or two people that could give me all their love and a fenced in backyard just for me and maybe another doggy friend. I’m 4 years old, 64 pounds of pure goofball, and I was rescued just in time — which is great news for both of us because I take my job as Best Boy very seriously.   I’m probably a lab/hound/chow/surprise mix, which means I’ve got the heart of a sweetheart, the nose of a professional food detector, and the snuggle skills of a weighted blanket. My ideal daily schedule is simple: eat, play, snuggle, repeat. (I’m flexible on the order.)   I’m fully house trained, crate trained, and proud to say I’m a very polite gentleman indoors. I love routine, comfy naps, and being close to my people — especially when there’s a couch involved. I’m also the BEST snuggler you’ll ever meet. That’s not bragging, it’s just facts.   I do best in a calm, adult-only home. Little humans make me a bit nervous, but big humans? I adore them.
