Bear is 10 years old and was bought from an Amish breeder in Millersberg, Ohio. Bear is full of energy, even at 10 years old. He needs a home where he can exercise and run and most importantly have another dog as a buddy. Bear is a wonderful dog and loves people. He is on a grain free diet and takes pills for allergies (occasional itching). Our kids are grown and just don’t have the time he deserves to spend with him anymore.

Story
Ranger is a loving, energetic dog who brings lots of joy and personality wherever he goes. He loves to play, cuddle, and spend time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great either as a solo pet soaking up all the attention or with another canine companion to play with. We are looking to rehome Ranger because our family recently added livestock to our mini farm, and unfortunately he does not do well around goats, chickens, or large open acreage. Ranger would thrive much more in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can safely run, play, and relax. He is a sweet boy with a big heart and lots of love to give, and we want to find him a home where he can truly be successful and happy.

This is Allie and she is looking for a forever home with love and a fenced yard! She is not a dog that has spent a night outside. She loves to play catch and gives hugs. Due to life, I had to move back into an apartment and it’s not working out. She is 4 years old and spayed. She will come with her toys and food etc. She’s a big girl and with no place here for her big enough. It’s best I do the right thing for her and try to find her a good home. She’s a very good dog. Part labradoodle/Great Pyrenees. She is due for vaccines, and we are located in Galion OH. I will ask for references and there will be a rehoming fee. TIA — in Galion.

COMING SOON! Stella is an energetic and sweet girl. Stella came to us as a stray with a bad left rear hip. We recently had an x-ray done and it appears that she fractured her hip/femur before we had her. It appears to have healed to some point but not correctly. To make her more comfortable, though she in no way acts like it bothers her, our veterinarian has decided to do to FHO surgery. She will not be adoptable until after the surgery. She will have a period of healing time. She will need a family that understands her recovery time and her restricted activity during that time.

Tater is an energetic, clever boy who we believe may be a Lab and Shiba mix- and honestly, it fits him perfectly. From his adorable curly tail that wags with enthusiasm to his intelligence, independence and touch of stubbornness, Sweet Tater keeps life interesting! He has a bright, life-filled smile that shows off his playful spirit and once he's comfortable with you his sweet side truly shines. Sweet Tater tends to bond closely with one person and may take some time to warm up to new people, so he'll do best in a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced owner. One that understands that trust is something earned and may take time, but when it happens it's incredibly rewarding for both of you! While Tater can be dog selective, usually doing best with calm, docile and submissive dogs who don't challenge him, we recommend he be the only pet in the home so he can fully relax and thrive. As for feline companions Sweet Tater has a high prey drive and would not do well in a home with a cat. Sweet Tater would love a home with a large yard to run in or a person who enjoys frequent walks and outdoor time. He has energy to burn and benefits greatly from both physical and mental enrichment. Speaking of enrichment - this boy is very smart! He loves puzzle toys like kongs and excels at scent based activities, especially when treats are hidden around the yard. Watching him carefully sniff out every last treat hidden in the yard is a true testament to his intelligence. When playtime rolls around, Sweet Tater enjoys toys and proudly shows off his talents for expertly dismantling them - durable toys are highly recommended! He's still in need of continued training and a patient, committed owner willing to work through his stubborn streak to uncover the loyal, affectionate companion underneath. If you are an experienced dog owner looking for a unique, intelligent and deeply rewarding bond, Sweet Tater may be the perfect match for you. Give him the time, structure and understanding he needs and he'll repay you with devotion, personality and plenty of tail wags!
