Story
Liesel is a sweet girl with loads of energy. She likes walks, but needs a fenced yard to run and fetch as well. She is dog reactive and when she came to us we were told she does not like other dogs, but that isn't true. She is just dog selective and has spent time with six different dogs while in our care and has done very well. Introducing the dogs in a proper manner is crucial to successfully getting Liesel to accept a new canine friend. She gets very excited when you first come home or greet her and will tend to jump to say HI, but once things get calm, she calms down as well. She has had some training sessions with 3 different trainers and knows some commands. Liesel has calmed down slightly since coming to us, but she will always be a bit high strung and her adopter must understand and accept that. it is just part of who she is. Liesel loves people, both children and adults, and just needs someone to love her for the dog she is. She wants to please and will be loyal and loving forever, if given the chance..

From current owner: Due to unexpected changes in my living situation, I sadly need to find Cheese a new, loving home. Cheese loves being outdoors — running around, playing, and soaking up the sun. When he’s inside, he’s calm, relaxed, and makes a great house dog. He’s very alert and will let you know if someone is outside, but he’s not overly vocal. He enjoys going on walks and listens well when given commands — he’s easily redirectable and eager to please. Personality and Compatibility: 🐶 Dog-friendly: Yes, he gets along well with other dogs. 🐱 Cat-friendly: No, he does not do well with cats. 👶 Kid-friendly: He is generally good with kids, but should be supervised around young children who may not understand boundaries. He doesn’t like having his paws, ears, or face tugged or poked. He has never bitten anyone, but he has growled when a toddler pulled his tail and ears, so a home with older, respectful kids would be best. Cheese would thrive in a home that can give him love, space to play, and understanding of his boundaries. He’s a loyal companion who will bring warmth and joy to his new family. When I need to go outside, I’ll let you know by heading right to the door. I know some basic commands like “no,” “sit,” and “shake,” and I’m always happy to show them off—especially if treats are involved (I love all treats and toys and I’m definitely not picky about food!). My favorite activities include playing fetch and tug, going outside, lounging around, and soaking up attention. Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!! She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. She knows sit and working with her on paw and lay down. Now because of her age she still has the puppy tendencies but she loves going on walks but someone who is patient with her will be able to teach her that chasing cars is not okay. She follows my kids around the yard and plays with them and she loves the snuggles. She is incredibly smart and would make a great family dog. She is an all-around good girl who is just looking for a family to love me. If you think you could be that family, Located in North Texas, Transport fee included
