APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Lacey, WA with two cats and two other dogs TOMMY is a beautiful super friendly and loving maybe Lab mix maybe some pit? (estimated DOB 6/25/25), neutered male. . He will probably get to be 45-60#s when grown. TOMMY sees life as a playground filled with fun, fun, fun. He is smart and loves toys of all kind… but his favorite is water. That must be the Lab in him. In Texas he was put in a pen with 2 other pups his size and his age and they had not been exposed to a swimming pool. It took all of 10 mins and he had them jumping in and playing like fish. He kept after them to run and chase and jump into the water. that was in TX. Now that he is here in WA and it is cold, we haven't had him in water other than rain! Tommy will make a great family pet. He loves people … of all ages and size. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. He uses the dog door and potties outside... but he is still a puppy and he could need a refresher a bit when going to a new home. Last two photos are from when Tommy was a younger puppy. Check out our YouTube Video: This video is when Tommy was younger and in rescue in Texas. https://youtu.be/-LwAdR5eEuk Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. ZIGGY is adorable…a real BIG TEDDY BEAR Lover. He is probably a Lab/Boxer mix. DOB 7/2/21 (4 yrs old). He weighs 78#...and is definitely 10-15# overweight. He needs less food and more exercise. Ziggy is a big boy but very affectionate. He is crate trained and house trained. He does well on the leash…but occasionally will pull when he’s interested in things. He loves being with other dogs…very playful. He ignores the cat. He loves all people that come up to him. He needs an active family and older children… 10+ ...to throw the ball and give him exercise. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
In foster near Tumwater, WA Lab/Hound is the closest breed we can guess on her, She is house trained! .10-12 months of age the vet guessed. Pita is a gentle, maybe a year-old Lab/Hound mix who has come a long way since being rescued from a hoarding situation in Texas. Now safe in a loving foster home near Olympia, she’s discovering what it means to feel secure, cared for, and part of a family. She is potty trained! This sweet girl is on the shy side and can be slow to warm up to new people—although some people she is comfortable with asap!. Understandable given her past—but once she trusts you, she blossoms into an affectionate, playful friendly, loyal companion who loves nothing more than curling up next to someone on the couch. She looks like she wakes up and puts on eyeliner every morning and can melt your heart with her big brown eyes. Pita currently lives with two children (ages 5 and 9) and has been gentle and patient in her foster home. Still, because of her timid nature, she would thrive perhaps in a quieter environment with adults or older kids who can give her the calm, steady reassurance she needs. She also tested fine with cats in Texas. She walks well on a front clip harness. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, soulful dog who just needs a little time and love to shine, Pita may be the perfect match. She’s ready to start her new life—could it be with you? This is the link to apply to adopt. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ Currently ALL dogs we have posted from Lufkin-Kurth Texas are not only human and dog friendly but cat friendly too! She is not totally 1`00% confident yet, so perhaps no toddlers who can run/scream, perhaps older children which would be a calmer home. Likely she would adore being with another dog. We were informed Bo is his brother. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Any questions, please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com Best to include your phone number and good times to call too!

Story
Meet the Director of Turkey Security, a 3-year-old, 46-pound lab mix who takes his holiday post very seriously. This compact king patrols the halls with the precision of a seasoned professional, ensuring no rogue dinner rolls go missing and no unattended turkey legs fall into enemy paws. Between his sweet tail wags and his “yes ma’am, I listen” energy, he’s basically the coworker of your dreams—reliable, affectionate, and always clocked in early for snack-related briefings. He’s a certified good boy who loves people, snuggles, and being told he’s doing an excellent job (which he is, every day). As for how he feels about other dogs? The Director is keeping that part of his personnel file classified. If you’re hoping he’ll have a canine coworker, he’ll need a meet-and-greet to approve the new hire. But honestly? He’d be just as happy being the sole officer of your household’s Security Department, where he can dedicate himself fully to protecting your leftovers and your heart. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Meet Chief Crumb Inspector, a 3-year-old, 70-pound lab mix who takes his job very seriously… mostly. This brown-and-cute connoisseur of snack debris patrols every room with the intensity of a mall cop and the charm of a golden retriever uncle at a family BBQ. If a Cheerio goes rogue? He’s on it. If a Goldfish cracker makes a break for freedom? Consider it apprehended. His motto: “No crumb left behind.” And with those adorable little white socks, he looks like he showed up to work early and dressed for success. Beyond his professional duties, this dude is a full-time goofball who believes hugs should be a love language and tummy rubs a constitutional right. He’s wildly well-meaning, genuinely eager to please, and yes—eventually—he will listen… it might just take a snack incentive. He knows “sit,” his tail wags like it’s powered by clean energy, and he radiates party-host energy everywhere he goes. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who doubles as your personal floor-cleaning enforcement officer, Chief Crumb Inspector is clocked in, ready, and waiting for his next assignment: loving you.The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
Scallop Potatoes may have a comfort-food name, and honestly? It fits him perfectly. This 1-year-old, 63-pound black Labrador mix is a soft, sweet, slightly unsure guy who just needs a moment to warm up. Being in a kennel can be a little scary for him, and he might look worried at first — but don’t let that fool you. The second he steps outside for a walk, his true personality comes out like sunshine. On the leash, Scalloped Potatoes becomes the goofiest, happiest boy around. His tail gets wiggly, his smile comes out, and he shows off just how loving and playful he really is. He’s potty trained, treat motivated, and full of that big-hearted pittie charm. Give him some patience, some snacks, and a little space to shine, and Scalloped Potatoes will show you he’s as warm and wonderful as his name. He`d be best in a home with older children. The dog adoption fee is $90.
