Thelma IS AVAILABLE (updated 12-12-2025). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/thelma Thelma is the sweetest girl who wants nothing more than to have a family of her own. She had a very rough start in life and was part of a hoarding case where A LOT of dogs were living in a one bedroom apartment. Thelma has since adapted to being in a foster home and part of a normal household. Thelma would love a home with another dog so she can have a companion. She doesnââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢t ask for much and is a very quiet dog. She is a lab mix on the smaller side and gets along with all other animals. Please fill out an application to adopt Thelma! The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.December 12, 2025, 5:36 am

Story
Looking for an active, friendly, social companion? Roxy is your girl! She is a sweet 1.5yo female, weighing around 68lbs of love - she aims to please, and understands cues/commands super fast. She is crate trained, leash trained, and is social with dogs and humans alike. She loves going on adventures and field trips with our approved volunteers during Dog Days Out, and can't wait to have her very own human to call her own. She always has a beautiful smile on and loves to give hugs!  Roxy would do best in a home with kids 12+. She would truly thrive in a ranch/barn environment, but would also do well with a yard or an active family who enjoys going for walks, hikes, or runs.  ##2436176##

Story
Danny is a super cute 6-month-old male! We think he might be a mix of a Lab x Shepherd, maybe Border Collie?  He has a very sweet heart and gentle soul, and enjoys hanging out in "safe spaces" - when given time and space, he's gained confidence and curiosity. His personality SHINES and he's really able to come out of his shell with the help of some of his doggie friends. Because of this, we would require him to go to a home that has another dog to keep him company. He would also need a crate or a bed in the corner of the home to help him have a safe space for him to retreat to if feeling overwhelmed and needing a break. He would do well with kids 8+. His best friend at Thrive is Jersey, a sweet and nurturing maternal figure who has helped Danny tremendously. Jersey is a 5-year-old female Bulldog mix. Ask about our "2-for-1" adoption if you're interested in giving both of these deserving sweethearts a home together! Danny would do best with someone who can go slow with him and continue helping him build his confidence, including leash walking skills. He would love a quiet low-traffic neighborhood or a private yard. He has made huge progress exploring new environments and meeting new people with the help of his K9 companions! He has been very playful with other puppies, and at times playful and submissive with larger dogs.  ##2571702##

Story
Hank IS AVAILABLE (updated 12-12-2025). To meet any of our dogs, complete our online adoption application on our website: http://www.coastalgsr.org/dogs/hank Hank is less than a year old, and is a mixed breed puppy. Weââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢re not sure what his mix is, but possibly german shepherd, black lab, and husky (due to his cute tail which gets curlier and curlier whenever heââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢s happy or excited). He was pulled from a high-kill animal shelter with just 3 hours to spare. Hank likes to toss his rope toy in the air and catch it, and he loves a good squeaky ball. Hank loves people and is affectionate, intelligent, and very high energy. He has been trained for basic commands, is potty trained, and has been trained to be comfortable around vacuum cleaners. Hankââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢s shelter paperwork described him as good with other dogs, but he has been known to become reactive when heââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#132¢s walking on a leash and sees another dog. We think this is because of built up frustration due to being quarantined from other dogs for a couple of weeks after leaving the shelter (a standard precautionââ&#194&#130¬â&#194&#128&#194&#157Hank has a clean bill of health from the vet, and his 2-week quarantine is now up). He will be receiving some extra training to reintegrate him with other dogs as we feel he could greatly benefit from some doggy playtime. Hank can be overly enthusiastic with his affections, so he is not recommended for homes with small children. Hank would do best with an active family that is able to walk him daily and possibly take him for hikes, runs, etc. This handsome boy likes to move. Hank is currently looking for a foster family or a forever family. His re-homing fee is $80. His vaccinations are up to date, and he has been neutered. The minimum adoption donation is $375 for adults and $500 for puppies. This helps cover vet care, boarding fees, and other expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.December 12, 2025, 5:36 am
