This is Bolt! He's nearly 3 years old from our best guess and is around 95lbs. I've had this handsome pirate since December and adopted him from Hope Ranch in Temecula. I am trying to get him rehomed with them too but I figured I could cast out as wide a net as possible. He's very sweet, very mellow, and quiet but is also very curious and playful. He loves to hang out and cuddle but is also always up for an adventure so long as the sun is still out. I am putting him up for adoption because his behavior is unpredictable with smaller dogs which has caused friction in the retirement community I live in with my mom. I do not want to give him up to a shelter so I am hoping to rehome him before the end of the month. He's great with other medium-large sized dogs and is good with older children but is a little afraid of smaller children. He has a fairly high prey drive so he would not be compatible in homes with cats or other small animals.

Kelso is a joy to be around and loves having a good time. His favorite activity is romping around with a plush toy and maybe even tearing it apart. He can really get into play time and would do well with an active household where he has plenty of things to work out his body and mind. Because of his energetic antics, he may do best with older, sturdier children. Once he gets his energy out, Kelso is a cuddler who loves hanging out with his favorite people. Kelso enjoys hanging out with other social dogs and going on walks together, sniffing along the way. He did come in with a leg injury that has since healed in its own special way. It doesn't slow him down in the slightest, but our vet team is ready to answer any questions that his adopters may have! Hi, I'm Freddie. I'm a handsome and regal looking 3 yr. old, 73 lb. black lab mix. I'm playful, friendly and affectionate. In spite of all my great qualities, I spent over a year in a shelter before SPOT rescued me (Black dogs and large breeds frequently get unfairly passed over by adopters for some reason) I love toys of all kinds and enjoy chasing a ball. I still haven't quite mastered that part about bringing it back! I get along great with other dogs and people. Unfortunately, cats, not so much. Since coming to SPOT, I have worked with a trainer to develop my leash manners and to follow basic commands. I would like to learn even more, if my new family will work with me. (Just to make sure I get off on the right track, SPOT will provide refresher sessions with my Trainer. I recently had some surgery to fix my leg and it's all better, but I have to stick to moderate activity for a while longer while I finish healing. I love my daily brisk walks and romps in the backyard. Since I am a big strong dog, you should probably have experience with bigger dogs. This sweet girl was hit by a car in the streets of Tijuana and left to fend for herself for god knows how long... she was found and relinquished into our care and her leg was so infected to the point of no return.. the vet did an extensive check up to see if anything could be done before coming to the conclusion of amputating.. she is a tripawd, her back right leg was the one removed. She gets along very well and is extremely sweet, oh so loving and looking for her forever home.
