Story
Buddy is almost a year. Exact age unknown. He has a very nice temperament. Timid puppy attitude when at park but otherwise not timid. Not agressive at all. Walks well on lead. Is house trained. Jumps a little when excited to see you after being out. I am working on that. Otherwise no bad habits. Needs a family of his own. I already have a dog 8 yrs old she gets jealous of my affection for Buddy but they play well. Buddy plays very well and is a very friendly pup but tall. I have hip and knee replacement. I can’t handle two dogs. I can assist on expenses of neutering paying half. He is on heartworm and flea tick prevention. He is healthy. He would be great with kids or adults any age. He is gentle and careful moving usually except the occasional jumping after I’ve been out. This is a very intelligent dog. Learns fast.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Seeking an experience adopter for a sweet girl with seizures. Ellie, a charming and gentle pup, has unfortunately found herself in a challenging situation. This sweet girl was saved from being euthanized after her owner could not take her with her when moving and could no longer afford her care. Ellie's medical history includes epilepsy, a condition that we believe may have been triggered by a traumatic experience during her spaying procedure at the age of two months. Despite this setback, Ellie has shown remarkable resilience and continues to thrive. Her amiable nature extends to both canine and feline companions, making her an ideal addition to a multi-pet household. Ellie is also well-trained, displaying excellent leash manners, although she occasionally exhibits a playful stubbornness that adds to her charm. One of Ellie's favorite pastimes is basking in the warmth of the sun, a testament to her easy-going and mellow demeanor. Her gentle disposition is further evidenced by her frosty face, which reflects her kind and compassionate nature. We are actively seeking a forever home for Ellie, preferably with individuals or families who are frequently present and can provide her with the love and attention she deserves. Additionally, we hope to find a home that is familiar with managing seizures or is willing to learn about this condition and provide the necessary care. Ellie currently relies on medication to manage her seizures, and we will ensure a continuous supply of these medications when she finds her forever home. It is important to note that Ellie may experience some initial anxiety and pacing in a new environment, but this behavior typically subsides within a day or so as she adjusts to her surroundings. We remain committed to providing Ellie with the utmost care and support during her time with us, and we look forward to finding her a loving and suitable forever home where she can thrive and enjoy the companionship she deserves. Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Joanie is an adorable Lab/Shepherd mix estimated to be between six and eight months old and weighs approximately 36lbs. She may be a little shy at first, but after a few minutes, she becomes a very loving and eager-to-please pup. Joanie enjoys playing with toys and is also fond of rolling in your lap for some affection. She gets along well with both big and small dogs and is currently learning proper cat etiquette. Joanie has been doing great with her crate and house training, which is impressive for her age. To provide the best care for Joanie, it would be ideal for her to find an active family who is willing to continue working on her manners and training. She is a smart and trainable pup who will thrive with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. Located in Pinellas County, Florida

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to complete an adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources This beautiful young lab mix has a cream coat and a typically friendly demeanor, though a bit shy at first. He already responds to 'sit' and gets along well with other dogs, heeding their cues. His curiosity extends to cats as well, he just wants to play. He will require a home that can continue his puppy training, particularly for leash walking; he's not too bad but does tend to pull. He is crate trained and is currently learning house training. He learned to use the doggy door within a few hours. He has started playing fetch, even bringing the ball back! With his young, eager mind, he is ready to learn more. He promises to be a wonderful addition to any active family, or couple and he would love to have another pup to play with. With his young, eager mind, he is ready to learn more. Story
This super sweet boy is Darby! Darby is approximately 6 years old and weighs 50 pounds. Darby was found as a stray and ended up in the shelter for over a year! He had an injury to his face and jaw, which you can see in his pictures. We don't know what happened to Darby when he was on the streets, but this poor boy had such severe fear of leaving his kennel and going outside that the staff and volunteers would have to carry or pull him outside. The volunteers just loved him and would sit with him in his kennel where he would wiggle with delight to be with people and have the company. Although he had that fear he was just sweet as can be, which is why they reached out to us to bring him into our rescue. Darby has come a long way since being with us. He loves to chase lizards now and is the sweetest, wiggly and loving boy! He's still not a huge fan of spending much time outside, as he would much prefer to be in the house with his humans. So, if you are looking for a loving, cuddly boy to keep you company and spend your time with, Darby is your boy! Please be sure to include your phone number when you inquire so we can call you and tell you more about this sweetheart!

Story
"Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl..." Wait, wait, she's not a showgirl, but she sure is a sweet girl. :) Meet Lola, this beautiful 2 year old 45 pound lab mix. Lola joined our rescue the end of December after we received a plea from a local shelter to help this sweet girl with a hurt back leg. In the time Lola has been with us, we have found her to be a happy, loving and silly girl. She's great in the car, loves to snuggle, play in the yard... and she loves trees (as you can see). Lot's more we can tell you about this beautiful girl, so please be sure to include your phone number when you inquire so we can tell you more... Inquiries in the Tampa Bay area please.
