Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 1.5 year old Lab mix boy looking for his forever home. Tucker loves all people, and dog-savvy cats! He will chase a cat that runs from him, but enjoys the company of cats that like to just hang with him. Tucker is crate-trained and potty-trained. Tucker requires a private dining area, (his foster mom feeds him in his crate). Tucker is very energetic and does best with older kids, but loves to cuddle with his people whenever he gets a chance. Tucker prefers to be the center of his person's world and not share the love with other dogs, but he does do well with dog savvy cats!Tucker's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, DHPP, Rabies, and microchip. Story
Cookie is the sweetest dog. I adopted her when she was 1 and she is now 7. I have another dog and they get along well, this is a difficult decision for me but ultimately best for her. I got her when I was in a different life stage now she does not get the exercise she needs, I live in a studio and in an apartment, and she is reactive with other dogs on leash. She is trained (she went to doggy boot camp intensive for two weeks) so she knows sit, lay down, stay, heel- with shock collar. She is a little anxious in social settings but does well with her collar and some attention/training. She is so loving and a little cuddle bug. She is good with kids but has not been exposed to them much, and would do best on a fenced in property with lots of room to run her energy out! She is an attention hogggg and so so so sweet, and a cuddle bug. This is a difficult decision for me but best for her :( looking for a really good home where she can flourish.

Story
Indiana is an almost six year old lab mix and a very sweet dog. We rescued her as a puppy almost six years ago. Since that time we have had two children and, unfortunately, she did not adapt well to the change and we aren’t able to give her the full attention she needs. She is housebroken, loves belly scratches, going on walks and playing fetch with her ball. She is about 45 lbs and does not shed much. She would make a great companion for a home without small children.

Story
Riley is a sweet, silly 4-year-old pup who’s come such a long way from surviving on the streets to being the best work-from-home buddy, TV binge partner, and walking companion you could ask for. I’ve loved watching him settle into foster life—he’s got this goofy grin and gentle soul that just makes you smile. He’s been crushing it in group training classes at Zoom Room St. Pete lately, picking up new skills fast and proving what a smart, eager learner he is. With slow introductions, he does great with dogs of all sizes (he’d love a playful dog sibling at home), cats, and all kinds of people. He’s not a dog park guy, but he lights up for good romp sessions. Riley was heartworm positive when rescued, but he powered through treatment and is now heartworm negative and in fantastic health. He’s fully house trained with perfect indoor manners, and his absolute favorite thing in the world is belly rubs—closely followed by cuddles, snuggles, and just being near his people. He’s a big-hearted lovebug ready for a forever home where he can keep bringing that loyal companionship, laughter, and endless affection. If you want a gentle goofball who’s as fun as he is loving, Riley’s your guy. ##1480510##

Story
Jake (the smaller brother) and Jackson (the bigger brother) are two sweet, shy boys who are just beginning to learn what safety and love feel like. Rescued from the rural hills of Puerto Rico, these brothers relied heavily on one another for comfort and reassurance. They are gentle, quiet, and very sensitive souls who take in the world carefully. While they are still timid, they are curious and making steady progress as they learn that people can be kind. Jake and Jackson are currently being evaluated to see if they must be adopted together. If they do not end up staying as a bonded pair, each will require another friendly, confident dog in the home to help them feel secure. They do best in a calm environment with a securely fenced yard, as they are still learning to feel comfortable on leash and gain confidence outside. They enjoy exploring a safe backyard, playing with toys, and accepting treats once trust begins to build. Both sleep through the night, use potty pads consistently, and settle nicely in their beds. These boys are not pushy or demanding; they simply need patience, gentle guidance, and time. In return, they offer quiet companionship, soft affection, and the kind of loyalty that grows slowly but deeply. Jake and Jackson are looking for an understanding home that will let them move at their own pace and continue helping them blossom into the loving dogs they are meant to be.   ##2644008##

Story
Rosie is about 6 years old and one of the sweetest, most resilient girls you will ever meet. She has overcome so much and is finally ready for the calm, loving life she deserves. She was rescued in January 2024 during a spay and neuter clinic in the Bahamas. After her surgery, she was supposed to be returned to the area she came from, but we were told she was at risk of being poisoned if she went back. We could not let that happen. Instead, we flew her to Florida and into a safe foster home. That decision changed her entire future. Before rescue, Rosie was likely used repeatedly for breeding. In 2024, she went through extensive medical care with us and handled every step with quiet strength. She tested positive for TVT after her rescue and completed treatment in the spring of 2024. By summer 2024, she was officially cancer free. Later in 2024, she had a hernia removed from her backside. She also tested positive for heartworm and completed treatment in November and December 2024. She has since tested negative and is heartworm free. Last year she was also diagnosed with early kidney disease. She manages beautifully on a renal diet and does not require any medications at this time. She also has some arthritis in her back legs, which is well managed with Librela injections. With this support, she remains comfortable, happy, and mobile. After everything she has endured, Rosie is now a healthy, stable, easygoing girl. She is affectionate, gentle, and so ready to be someone’s steady companion. She has been waiting for her forever home since January 2024, and she truly deserves a soft place to land. Rosie is not defined by her past. She is defined by her resilience, her sweetness, and her ability to love despite it all. Now she just needs someone to love her back for the rest of her life.   ##2008255##

Story
Angelina, also known as Beanie, is a three-year-old dog with a very sweet, quirky personality and a gentle heart. She had a brain injury as a puppy, but with daily medication her seizures are mostly controlled, and she does well with a calm, predictable routine that helps her feel safe. Once she gets to know and trust you, her silly, playful side starts to show. She enjoys tossing toys around, doing quick little zoomies, and then settling in for quiet cuddle time. She is food motivated, which makes it easier to build trust, reinforce routines, and continue her training and bonding. Beanie is good with other dogs and with children, but she would be happiest in a quieter home, ideally with one or two calm canine companions rather than a very busy environment. She also enjoys car rides and getting out for new experiences, as long as she is given time to go at her own pace. She would do especially well with someone who is home often and can offer her stability, patience, and consistent affection. Beanie forms deep attachments to her people and simply wants to feel understood and secure. She is a sensitive, loving dog with a lot of character, and for the right person, the relationship with her will be very meaningful. She is ready for a home that can appreciate who she is and love her just as she is. ##1661209##

Story
Shadow is a sweet, resilient soul who has endured more than most dogs should in his five years of life. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, he found his way to Tampa Bay and was given the gift of a loving home. But after a cross-country move triggered severe anxiety, Shadow was surrendered—his little heart broken once again. For a while, things looked brighter. Shadow was adopted by another family and started to find comfort again. But when his vision began to fade, his family chose not to seek answers and returned him to us. He came back overweight, with swollen ankles, and carrying the weight of heartbreak yet again. We soon discovered that Shadow has a thyroid condition. With medication, a healthy diet, and proper care, he’s already improving and showing glimpses of the happy, playful pup he truly is. His vision loss may even be connected to this condition, and he’s undergoing further evaluation to give him the best chance possible. Through it all—every setback, every loss—Shadow has remained the same at his core: a love bug who just wants to be close to his people. He deserves a calm, patient home where he can continue healing, feel safe, and finally be cherished for the incredible companion he is. Shadow has been failed too many times, but we believe his forever family is out there. Please, help us find them. Share his story. Open your heart. Let’s give this brave boy the soft landing he has always deserved.   ##2177020##
