Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 1.5 year old Lab mix boy looking for his forever home. Tucker loves all people, and dog-savvy cats! He will chase a cat that runs from him, but enjoys the company of cats that like to just hang with him. Tucker is crate-trained and potty-trained. Tucker requires a private dining area, (his foster mom feeds him in his crate). Tucker is very energetic and does best with older kids, but loves to cuddle with his people whenever he gets a chance. Tucker prefers to be the center of his person's world and not share the love with other dogs, but he does do well with dog savvy cats!Tucker's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, DHPP, Rabies, and microchip. Story
Indiana is an almost six year old lab mix and a very sweet dog. We rescued her as a puppy almost six years ago. Since that time we have had two children and, unfortunately, she did not adapt well to the change and we aren’t able to give her the full attention she needs. She is housebroken, loves belly scratches, going on walks and playing fetch with her ball. She is about 45 lbs and does not shed much. She would make a great companion for a home without small children.

Story
Meet Asher, our sweet silver Lab with a heart full of love. He’s a gentle, senior pup of 12 years who adores tennis balls, swimming, and cozy naps. Asher is wonderful with kids and has never bitten or harmed anyone. He’s just a calm, loyal companion with a playful spirit. This is one of the hardest decisions we have ever made, but with three young kids, we simply can’t give him the time and attention he deserves. He deserves more. Asher is in good health for his age, aside from two bad knees he’s lived with comfortably for years & most wouldn’t even know. He still enjoys fetch, short walks, and fun outings, but also loves to rest by your side. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be near his people, whether on an adventure or snoozing on the couch. Asher would thrive in a home that values companionship, where he can be cherished and spoiled in his golden years. He makes a wonderful best friend.

Meet Riley – The King of Belly Rubs! Riley is a sweet, silly, ~4-year-old pup who went from surviving on the streets to thriving in a loving foster home. Found as a stray, he quickly proved himself to be the ultimate work-from-home buddy, TV binge partner, and loyal walking companion. Smart & Eager to Learn: Riley recently started group training classes at Zoom Room St. Pete and he’s doing AMAZING! He’s picking up new skills quickly and showing off what a smart, trainable boy he really is. Dog-Friendly & Playful: Riley does well with slow introductions and once he feels comfortable, he’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes, cats, and humans alike. He’s not a dog park regular, but he truly enjoys playtime and would love to have a doggie sibling to romp around with at home. Healthy & Happy: Riley was heartworm positive when rescued but has successfully completed treatment and is now heartworm negative and in great health! House Trained & Affectionate: He’s fully house trained and has perfect indoor manners. Riley’s favorite things? Cuddles, snuggles, and of course, belly rubs! He’s a big-hearted lovebug who just wants to be close to his people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and a goofy grin, Riley could be your perfect match. He’s ready to bring love, laughter, and a whole lot of snuggles into his forever home ##1480510##

Story
Jake (the smaller brother) and Jackson (the bigger brother) are two sweet, shy boys who are just beginning to learn what safety and love feel like.   Rescued from the rural hills of Puerto Rico, these brothers relied heavily on one another for comfort and reassurance. They are gentle, quiet, and very sensitive souls who take in the world carefully. While they are still timid, they are curious and making steady progress as they learn that people can be kind.   Jake and Jackson are currently being evaluated to see if they must be adopted together. If they do not end up staying as a bonded pair, each will require another friendly, confident dog in the home to help them feel secure.   They do best in a calm environment with a securely fenced yard, as they are still learning to feel comfortable on leash and gain confidence outside. They enjoy exploring a safe backyard, playing with toys, and accepting treats once trust begins to build. Both sleep through the night, use potty pads consistently, and settle nicely in their beds.   These boys are not pushy or demanding; they simply need patience, gentle guidance, and time. In return, they offer quiet companionship, soft affection, and the kind of loyalty that grows slowly but deeply.   Jake and Jackson are looking for an understanding home that will let them move at their own pace and continue helping them blossom into the loving dogs they are meant to be.   ##2644008##

Story
Meet Rosie: A True Warrior Looking for Her Forever Home! Rosie is a 4-6 year old sweetheart who has overcome so much and is now ready for a fresh start! Rescued in January 2024 during a spay/neuter clinic in the Bahamas, Rosie was at risk of being poisoned if returned to the area she came from. She was supposed to be returned as a part of the clinic process, but we just couldn't put her at risk so we flew her to Florida and into a foster home. Despite everything she’s been through, Rosie is an incredibly loving and kind soul. Before being rescued, Rosie was likely used for breeding repeatedly. She's undergone a lot of medical care with us and is so resilient. She tested positive for TVT after her rescue and underwent treatment last spring and was deemed cancer free last summer! She also had a hernia removed from her backside last fall. She tested  heartworm positive and went through her treatment in November and December and is awaiting her retest. We had to do all treatments in a specific order for her safety, but now  Rosie is a healthy, happy girl who is ready to live her best life! Rosie has been waiting for her forever home since January 2024, and she truly deserves a second chance at a loving, fulfilling life. Could you be the one to give her the forever home she’s been patiently waiting for?   ##2008255##

Story
Shadow is a sweet, resilient soul who has endured more than most dogs should in his five years of life. Rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, he found his way to Tampa Bay and was given the gift of a loving home. But after a cross-country move triggered severe anxiety, Shadow was surrendered—his little heart broken once again. For a while, things looked brighter. Shadow was adopted by another family and started to find comfort again. But when his vision began to fade, his family chose not to seek answers and returned him to us. He came back overweight, with swollen ankles, and carrying the weight of heartbreak yet again. We soon discovered that Shadow has a thyroid condition. With medication, a healthy diet, and proper care, he’s already improving and showing glimpses of the happy, playful pup he truly is. His vision loss may even be connected to this condition, and he’s undergoing further evaluation to give him the best chance possible. Through it all—every setback, every loss—Shadow has remained the same at his core: a love bug who just wants to be close to his people. He deserves a calm, patient home where he can continue healing, feel safe, and finally be cherished for the incredible companion he is. Shadow has been failed too many times, but we believe his forever family is out there. Please, help us find them. Share his story. Open your heart. Let’s give this brave boy the soft landing he has always deserved.   ##2177020##
