Story
Hi this is Oakley! He turned two in August! He Loves to swim and go for rides. I took in Oakley about a year ago because he showed some food aggression towards another pup. At the time I was in a better situation financially and time wise. I’m heartbroken to have to rehome him but I think he would thrive with someone that has more time to Love him. He really is a great dog with so much emotion that deserves more than I have to give. I work long hours and have physical limitations so he doesn’t get the attention he deserves.

Meet Ellie — a gentle soul with a heart full of love and resilience. Ellie was saved from euthanasia after her owner could no longer keep her, and despite living with epilepsy—likely caused by an early trauma—she continues to thrive. This sweet girl is great with dogs and cats, has lovely leash manners, and enjoys sunbathing and quiet companionship. Ellie is looking for a calm, loving home where someone is often around and can provide her with care and comfort. She’s on medication to manage her seizures, and her rescue will ensure she has a continuous supply. While she may need a little time to settle in, Ellie quickly relaxes once she feels safe and loved. If you have a big heart and room in your home for this sweet, mellow girl, Ellie will reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adoption fee sponsored Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources 💖 Meet Monica! 💖 Monica is a sweet and gentle soul who’s ready to find her forever home! This lovely girl is house-trained and crate-trained, and she has that perfect balance of independence and affection. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she warms up, you’ll see her playful, loving side shine through. Monica has medium energy—she enjoys walks, playtime, and a good nap in between. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is always polite and friendly when meeting new canine friends. And if you see her out on a walk, prepare to smile—Monica has the cutest little “show-off” strut that will melt your heart! 🥰 This sweetheart will be starting heartworm treatment in December 2025, and she’s looking for a family who will give her the love and care she deserves as she completes her journey back to full health. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with just the right mix of independence, affection, and charm, Monica might be the perfect match. Best guess at breed. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.‍ ** All canine pets in home should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Action Jackson – The Chill Companion You’ve Been Waiting For Despite his action-packed name, Action Jackson is more of a laid-back homebody than a thrill-seeker. This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. He’s not the type to chase tennis balls for hours, but he will happily keep you company while you sip coffee or work in the garden. Training & Habits He’s crate trained, house-trained, and while he doesn’t know formal commands, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. He’s not overly treat-motivated but will happily accept the occasional canned food snack. The Perfect Match If you’re looking for a relaxed, loyal friend who values companionship over constant activity, Jackson could be your guy. He’s healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption Details Jackson is adoptable through The London Sanctuary.
