Story
Meet Tucker! Tucker is a 1.5 year old Lab mix boy looking for his forever home. Tucker loves all people, and dog-savvy cats! He will chase a cat that runs from him, but enjoys the company of cats that like to just hang with him. Tucker is crate-trained and potty-trained. Tucker requires a private dining area, (his foster mom feeds him in his crate). Tucker is very energetic and does best with older kids, but loves to cuddle with his people whenever he gets a chance. Tucker prefers to be the center of his person's world and not share the love with other dogs, but he does do well with dog savvy cats!Tucker's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, DHPP, Rabies, and microchip. To meet Tucker fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.Please NOTE: PPH does not adopt dogs to homes farther than a 1 hour drive from Tampa, FL.March 14, 2026, 12:04 am

Story
This is Tracker 🤎 Tracker was rescued 2 years ago when he was just a baby baby facing imminent euthanasia at an overcrowded county shelter. We stepped in to save him just in the knick of time! Trainer was a MODEL puppy and had an incredible foster home who found him a spot with someone they knew because they just adored him so much! Fast forward 2 years and poor Tracker has had a rough go… First, he was given away without our knowledge and we don’t even know when. We only found about this recently when we were made aware that the gentleman that took Tracker when his adopter gave him away had passed away. Poor Tracker now finds himself looking for a safe and FOREVER home yet again having lost not one, but TWO dads through zero fault of his own! He’s an orphan once again 💔 Tracker has completed the PetSmart basic training course so we know he knows his manners. 🤩 We contacted the trainer who conducted the obedience classes and she said Tracker was a coworker of both his dads so he’s been socialized in public for sure! She said he was a super cool dog but since it was a year ago and she only knew him in this setting, that was about all she could tell us. But… she remembered him a year later so, that’s saying something!! We are told he is friendly with others and we don’t know of any bad habits – though the truth is we know very little other than that. 😭 Tracker needs a safe space immediately. We have nowhere for him to go! Is anyone willing to foster or interested in adopting this handsome boy? I sure love how his crazy cute puppy ears translated to crazy cute adult doggo ears 😍 Please help us help Tracker again. 🤎

Story
Meet Little John 🐻 aka LJ ADOPTER NEEDED ❤️🐾☀️ Tampa, FL LJ was found as a stray with a missing paw and taken to a rural Ga shelter. That’s all we knew… he was a black dog, with a medical ailment that would make him undesirable to the public and he was sitting at a shelter that’s severely overrun with need. LJ was definitely up against it… On a wing and a prayer, we committed to him. We didn’t have a spot for him. We didn’t know what else Little John would need but we did know his leg would need attention and we wanted to give him that. His sweet face just killed us…we hoped during that month that we saw his picture at the shelter someone would come to save him, but that someone never did so Maxx & Me stepped up. When LJ arrived, it was immediately obvious there is a laundry list of medical problems he is dealing with. He’s severely emaciated. His bones stick out such that it seems they will rip through right through his skin. His testicles are extremely infected – red, inflamed, with open sores. His leg was definitely NOT a congenital defect. His injury was some traumatic amputation, the origin is unknown. His leg still bears the ringed scars of entanglement. He bears old scars all over his body, evidence of a life lived unloved and scrounging for survival. And yet… Little John is as lovely as the character for which he’s named. He’s sweet. He’s starving… He’s friendly with both cats AND little dogs. He’s friendly with dogs his size and good with cats as he stayed temporarily with two small dogs and 6 cats. He loves people and craves touch but he’s cautious when meeting new humans – unsure if they’re there to hurt him or help him…he wagged his tail so much that he had “happy tail” where they whack it against the steel metal bars in the shelter because they are so happy to see you it bleeds. It has since healed❤️ For a dog to be in that situation and still exude joy, simply shows the resilience of little John. He is gaining weight and is a strong boy. We are still working with veterinarians to determine if his back leg is a hindrance or help and will determine amputation or not, but he will be ok no matter what! We desperately need a foster and adopter for his gentle boy☀️🐾❤️ Apps @maxxandme.org Adoption fee is $300 If you can help us with LJ’s needs please help us provide Little John with all he will need to get healthy and start to feel better. Donations to his care can be made via www.maxxandme.org/donate Cash App $maxxandmepetrescue www.paypal.me/maxxandme Venmo@maxxandmepetrescue Checks mailed to 12191 W Linebaugh Ave #554 Tampa, FL 33626 We love this precious boy so much already. We are hoping like crazy for good news and a positive

Story
Momma Chloe and her 11 puppies – Chloe needs a foster and adopter and 9 puppies need their forever homes!!! Tampa, FL 🚨 FOSTER & ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP – MEET MOMMA CHLOE 🚨 Momma Chloe came to us from a rural shelter after being dumped while pregnant. What makes this even more heartbreaking? Her owner planned to “reclaim” her after she gave birth and her puppies were weaned. 💔 Unbelievable. Chloe has endured more than any dog ever should. According to her owner, she previously gave birth to 13 puppies (and who knows how many other litters before that). Then, on a cold concrete shelter floor, she delivered 11 more puppies—alone and abandoned. We stepped in and took the entire family, which was a massive undertaking. Chloe gave birth to 8 girls and 3 boys, lovingly nicknamed The Christmas Clan, and both Chloe and all 11 puppies are now ready for adoption ❤️🐶 Despite being severely emaciated, Chloe never stopped caring for her babies. She was nursed back to health with special supplements while she continued to nurse her pups. Her puppies were born 10/29/25 and are thriving. As if she hasn’t suffered enough, extensive vetting revealed Chloe has mast cell cancer. A large tumor was removed from her leg, and while we don’t know if she has years or just a year ahead of her, what we do know is this: ✨ Chloe is an absolute sweetheart ✨ She longs for a quiet home, cuddles, and soft places to rest. Chloe loves her red ball❤️ ✨ She would thrive as an only dog, finally receiving all the love she’s missed ✨ A fenced yard would be a dream come true And heartbreakingly, our vet also discovered a pellet lodged in her body—meaning this gentle girl was shot at some point in her life 💔💔💔 Chloe weighs about 65 lbs and is still gaining healthy weight. While the shelter estimated her age at 9, our vets believe she is much younger—closer to 4–5 years old. She appears to be a black Lab mix with a touch of white. 🐾 Please open your heart and home to Chloe. She deserves safety, peace, and love for however long she has. 🙏 Please share Chloe far and wide. Her happy ending depends on it. 📺 Chloe was featured on the news: https://www.tampabay28.com/community/adoptable-pets/rescues-in-action-dragon-chloe-and-roxanne
