Story
Hello! Bob here!! I'm an intelligent, 19 month old, 60# Lab mix. I'm full of love and devotion with my Fosters. I know basic commands and potty trained. Because I'm young and didn't get a lot of exercise before, I'm working on "curbing my enthusiasm", so it's recommended that small dogs and children under the age of 12 are not a good fit for me. I get along well with my Foster Sibling Lab mix, we run and play and have a great time together! I'm not destructive in any way and don't even think about "counter surfing." I'm working well on loose leash walking and socializing in the public. Once I know you, I will do nothing but want to please and devote myself to you! Bob is up to date on vaccines and microchipped! For more information about Bob, email, adopt@friendsofnoah-wi.orgTo fill out an application, https://form.jotform.com//82966606382164

Story
Meet is Tyr, a 2yo 60lb Lab mix. We recently adopted him from Animal Welfare Friends in Monticello, IA to add to our family of dogs and cats at home. Although he barely understood "Sit" when we got him, this very food-driven guy has done well as we've been working with him on all the basic commands (sit, down, stay, kennel, off, come/recalling) as well as starting some leash training with him. While we've watched him grow a lot during his time with us, he still needs an owner willing to continue working with him. Unfortunately, we haven't seen much improvement in his ability to live in a multi-pet household. While not outright aggressive, he does at times demonstrate possessive and reactive behavior. While we often recognize these behaviors and are able to call him off before things escalate, the result is a dog that we cannot trust to be out of sight while he's in our home. We feel that he needs to be a single pet in order to grow into the best dog he can be.
