Story
Meet Mazzy Nickname: Mazzy Star (your 1990s are showing!) Breed: Yellow Lab Rescue: Albert's Dog Lounge Age: 4 yrs Weight: 42 lbs History: Mazzy was found injured on the streets of Texas Foster home: Edgerton, WI Home state: TX Activity level: Moderate Friendly with: People (I LOVE men!) and other submissive dogs, because I like to be the top dog in the house! Probably no cats~ in my limited time with kitties, I have enjoyed chasing them Sleep style: On a corner of the people bed, or on a dog bed on the floor at night. Meals: 1 cup high quality kibble 2x/day Snore-o-meter: 3 Bark-o-meter: 3 I bark when someone comes to the door. Ain't no mailman gonna sneak up on us when I'm on the watch! Shedding meter: 5 I'm a lab. We do this! Fart-o-meter: 0 Fashion: Swishy tennis skirt and matching sun visor Signature color: Red really pops against my fur Walk out song: Fade Into You by..... Mazzy Star Favorite season: Summer! Us Texas girls are all about the warm weather! Personality: Curious, alert, loyal, confident, affectionate & social Best feature: My laid back lover attitude! Tell me "HUGS!" and watch me come give you a big hug! PS, I LOVE men. Hugging them is the BEST! Dream job: Walmart Greeter! "Hi! Hi! Hi! Hello! Hi!" Dislikes: Farm machinery and big trucks. I currently am being fostered down a country road and those are scary so I bark at them to scare them away! Bucket list: Car rides, a fenced yard where I can play freely, a family to love me, pontoon rides, and midnight romps in the moonlight Mazzy is a sweet girl with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. As such, her skin can tear easily, so high contact dog play can be problematic for her. She is smart and knows "come", "stop", and "hugs", and wants to please. She is well mannered, and loves everyone she meets. With her bunny-soft fur, she is the softest dog ever! Spayed Microchipped Housebroken Takes treats gently Walks well on a leash but could benefit from a gentle leader for times when she gets exuberant Excellent in car and loves rides Roams freely when home alone UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Sable is being fostered in Tennessee. Sable is a wonderful dog whose only goal in life is to cuddle you and be loved. Sable is a confident dog who gets along with cats and every single dog he has met. Nothing phases Sable, he loves to go on adventures, rides great in the car and is a perfect gentleman on a leash. Sable will do well in a quiet or hectic household, he doesn't startle easily and overcomes new challenges quickly. He uses a doggy door, kennels well and runs the house freely without worry. Sable does have some separation anxiety and does not like to be left alone...other animals in the house are a comfort but he really wants humans nearby. He is not destructive but does search for you if you leave. He has puppy energy but a walk or another dog to play with will make him content and he will be a couch potato with you once you get energy off him. Great with kids of all ages and will make an amazing family dog. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
