Story
Meet Diamond! Breed: Labrador Retriever/Hound mix Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Senior Weight: 65 lbs Diamond’s adoption fee has been sponsored by Lacey Mattson and family, in loving memory of Adler. Fun fact: She has the sweetest head tilt when you speak to her Foster home: Oregon, WI Activity level: Low (couch potato) Friendly with: Dogs, cats, kids (hasn’t been exposed to small children) Sleep style: Dog bed on floor, this senior’s hips don’t feel comfortable jumping on furniture Meals: Kibble twice daily and one meal has a some canned food to help her take meds Snore-o-meter: 2 (quiet gal) Bark-o-meter: 2 (rarely barks) Shedding meter: 2/10 light shedder Fashion: A colorful bandana to compliment her fur Walk out song: “Don’t worry, He Happy” Bobby McFerrin Favorite season: All seasons, but prefers a dry/sunny day :) Personality: sweet, timid, content with being close to her people/friends Best feature: Her sweet face and expressive eyes ❤️s: Treats, carrots, listening to the birds Lovely Diamond would do best in a home with a doggy friend to keep her company. She thrives with canine companionship. Also, she can bark a bit when her human leaves, so she is likely not a great match for apartment living. Spayed ✅ Microchipped ✅ Housebroken ✅ Walks easily on a leash ✅ Trusted to be left alone free roam ✅ UTD on vaccinations ✅ UTD on preventatives ✅ Diamond’s family moved and she was sadly left behind. She has cataracts which impairs her vision so she may initially need to adjust to a new space but learns quickly. Her vision makes her initially nervous on car rides as well. She has some hip issues due to past injuries and takes meds daily to keep her comfortable. This sweet pup is so loving and deserves a loving family of her own! Story
Meet Mazzy! Age: Adult Breed: Labrador Good with: kids and dogs Housebroken: Yes Special needs: Calmer home/dogs due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Hey everybody, my name is Mazzy, and I'm the most special gal! I'm a young adult now, and I've found myself looking for my forever home. You might notice that I have a lot of extra skin, and that makes me extra beautiful! It also might add a pound or two to my 42-pound frame because pictures make me look a little lighter than I actually am. Let me tell you, that extra skin is a bit more susceptible to scratches compared to a normal dog's skin because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Luckily, it doesn’t affect my joints, and I have no need for special medicines – or special food either. I just need to make sure I don't play too rough with my fur friends, that's all! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, but the calmer, the better, so they don't jump on me or scratch me. I do fabulously with children of all ages, and really enjoy being around them! I learned to trust and love most all humans really, but big crowds and busy new places can be overstimulating for me. I like to alert you to any strange noises I hear or of new people coming into the home, so I might not do super great with living in an apartment building where there might be a lot of extra noise. I’m really good at going potty outside – and have learned to let you know I need to go by standing near the door and giving a little whine. I love going on walks, and I do quite well, though why do some of those trucks need to be so big and loud? I'm not sure how well I would do with kitties. Foster mom says I'm so, so smart and love to learn. I also love car rides and my toys - I can keep myself entertained! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and zoomies I get. Now I'm ready for my ride-or-die bestie to play by day and snuggle by night with! *Mazzy is being fostered in Edgerton, WI. Story
Adult (age unknown) Spayed female 73 lbs. Looking for a home without other dogs Did well when meeting a young child No known experience with cats Nora is a sweet, submissive girl who’s always ready to roll over for belly rubs — it’s her favorite way to ask for affection! She loves cuddling up, hanging out outside with you, or happily chewing on a tasty bone. Nora knows basic commands, listens well when it’s time to head back inside, and enjoys enrichment activities like cheese on a lick mat or a peanut butter-filled Kong. She’s a gentle, loving soul who’s sure to melt your heart with her sweet, easygoing nature. Nora has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.May 16, 2025, 2:43 pm

Roc is very food motivated and will thrive with positive training that taps into his eagerness to learn.
