- Total goofball who loves toys and being silly - Sweet boy who knows sit and shake- Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like them - Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep their bodies and brains busy- Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro recommended) - All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age- The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, and not breed label Primary Color: Black Weight: 61 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks

HOW TO ADOPT: This dog is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email lrogers@arl-iowa.org.---- Loves being part of a family and enjoying lots of activities with his people; will greet everyone with a waggy tail - Enjoys chewing on Benebones and loves to show them off so you can see how cool they are; also likes Kongs and rope toys - Very snuggly and likes to relax by you while you pet him; especially loves belly rubs, head pets and booty scratches - Loves spending time outside, going on car rides and going on walks - Knows sit and lay down - Has been doing well with teenagers in his foster home and has done well with children in the past; would love to meet any kids in your home before adoption to see if everyone's a match - Has been doing well with a cat and a small dog in his foster home, but he can be choosy about his dog friends and may not want to be friends with every dog; does best with slow introductions to new pets - Had knee surgery for a ligament injury, and we recommend restricted activity for the next several weeks to aid in healing (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs.
