Meet Zuri! Our beautiful 4 year old  girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include Husky mix  (55%) and a touch of Lab and Pit mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in the past and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri is still looking for the right and confident owner.  She is in foster care and is totally crate trained and housebroken. She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 4years old, 58 pound spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 8 years and above. Story
Ginger is sunshine in puppy form. Sweet, curious, and full of life, this Lab and Heeler mix was born around December 10th and is ready to find a family to call her own. Her journey began in a barn, where she and her three siblings were found alongside their mom—cold and hungry, but safe together. With help from caring people, Ginger now gets to focus on being exactly what she’s meant to be: a joyful, loving puppy. At just 8–9 weeks old on 2/6, Ginger weighs 10 pounds and is expected to grow into a 60–70 pound adult. Her mom, a sweet 80-pound yellow Lab mix, has passed down not only good looks but a gentle, friendly nature that shines through in Ginger’s personality. This little girl is not shy about love. She is playful, inquisitive, and eager to experience everything around her. Ginger’s looks are as charming as her personality—soft white fur dotted with freckles, a beautiful brown mask outlined in black, freckles dusting her nose, and a perfectly placed brown spot right on top of her head that makes her unforgettable. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 8, 2026, 12:20 am

Story
My name is Brady, and I came into this world around December 1st — just in time to face one of the worst snow and ice storms in Nashville history. My mom, my three siblings, and I were found huddled together in a cold barn, trying our very best to stay warm. Thankfully, kind hearts found us, and now our story is one of hope instead of hardship.   Our beautiful mama is an 80-pound Lab mix, but everyone says our dad must have been a Heeler — which means I likely won’t grow quite as big as Mom. At 8–9 weeks old, I weigh about 11 pounds, and they think I’ll grow into a handsome 60-pound gentleman one day.   My foster mom says I’m a special kind of puppy. I have a calm, even-keeled temperament and an old-soul quality about me. While my siblings tumble and wrestle, I’m often content to sit back, observe, and entertain myself. I don’t mind being independent — in fact, I think I’d be perfectly happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention.   I’m smart, thoughtful, and eager to learn. I promise I’ll train easily and catch on quickly — I just need someone willing to show me the way.   If my quiet confidence and handsome looks have captured your heart, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. I can be adopted locally in Tennessee, or I can ride the transport van to the Northeast on March 6th. Long-distance adoption is easy — you can speak directly with my foster family and even see videos showing just how sweet and gentle I truly am.   I survived the storm that started my life. Now I’m just waiting for the warmth of a forever home.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 12, 2026, 11:19 pm

Story
Mishka deserves a beautiful life — the kind filled with warmth, safety, and a love that never disappears. This elegant Yellow Lab mix young girl, gave birth to her puppies in early December and somehow found herself sheltering them inside a cold barn during one of the worst ice storms in Nashville. With no food and no water, she did the only thing she knew how to do — she protected her babies. When help finally arrived, Momma Mishka and her four puppies were in rough shape, but they were still together. She had kept them alive.   That’s who Mishka is — a survivor who refuses to let life harden her heart. Once in the care of Critter Cavalry Rescue, everything changed. Nutritious food, vaccines, medical care, and safety replaced the cold uncertainty she had known. She will be spayed on 2/20, marking the beginning of a new chapter that is entirely her own. At just 18 months old and 80 pounds, Mishka moves with a fluid grace that is almost mesmerizing. Her foster mom says she flows beautifully within a home — remarkable for a dog whose past is such a mystery. We know she has lived indoors before, though we don’t know for how long. What we do know is that she remembers how to be part of a home. She is housebroken, does well in a crate for periods of time, and carries herself with a quiet dignity. There is a gentleness about her that makes you want to promise her forever. She is kind. She is steady. She is loving without being demanding. She would make the BEST FAMILY COMPANION!  Her four gorgeous puppies will no doubt grow into wonderful dogs, following the example of their extraordinary mom.   Mishka is ready to stop surviving and start shining. She is ready to be someone’s bright star — their Venus — the symbol of love and devotion. If you feel called to give this beautiful soul the life she has always deserved, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. She is available for adoption in Tennessee and beyond.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 15, 2026, 1:02 am

Jude is pure puppy magic wrapped in a soft Lab mix package. Born around December 10th, this handsome little guy is 8 weeks old and weighs 11 pounds—just the right size for snuggles, playtime, and stealing hearts wherever he goes. His short, velvety coat and beautiful markings make him a standout, but it’s his joyful, affectionate personality that truly shines. Jude is a happy, cuddly puppy who loves being close to his people and soaking up attention. He’s at that wonderful stage where curiosity meets sweetness, and he’s just beginning to figure out the kind of dog he’ll grow into. With a loving family, Jude’s natural intelligence and affectionate nature will blossom into a loyal, lifelong companion. Jude was found in a barn with his mom, a gentle 80-pound yellow Lab mix, and his three siblings. Thanks to kind fosters and the help of Critter Cavalry Rescue, this little family was given safety, care, and a fresh start. Now Jude is ready for the next chapter—one that includes a couch, a family, and a future full of love. Jude is expected to grow into a 60–70 pound adult and would be a wonderful fit for an active, loving home. He can be adopted in Tennessee at 10 weeks of age on February 21st, and for families in the Northeast, he will be able to travel on March 6th. If you’re looking for a puppy who brings joy, warmth, and a whole lot of heart, Jude may be the one for you. Story
Hi there… I’m Buster Brown and I am a special little soul that is looking for a super special family to love.  I was born around December 1st and, before I even opened my eyes to the world, I was facing one of the harshest upcoming Winter storms in Nashville TN history. My mom and the four of us puppies were discovered in a barn, bundled together against the snow and ice. It wasn’t the cozy beginning every puppy dreams of — but it makes the warmth I feel now that much sweeter. My mama is a gorgeous 80-pound Lab mix, and word on the street is that Dad was likely a Heeler. That means I’ll probably top out around 55 pounds — the perfect size for couch cuddles and outdoor adventures. Right now, at 8–9 weeks old, I’m a petite 11 pounds of potential. What makes me different? My foster mom says I have a beautifully calm spirit . While my siblings are busy roughhousing sometimes they decide to pick on me.  I don't know why but I am not a rough guy honestly.  I am a lover, not a fighter.  I play quietly and am very easy in the puppy while my foster mom is away for the day.  I hardlyl ever bark or make loud fussy noises.  I’m often off to the side, quietly watching the world. I’m independent, thoughtful, and perfectly content entertaining myself. I wouldn’t mind having a dog sibling… but I also wouldn’t mind being your one and only. I’m the kind of puppy who will grow into a steady, loyal companion. I’m smart, observant, and eager to learn. Give me a little guidance and I promise I’ll make you proud.   If you feel like there might be a spot in your heart for a sweet, steady boy like me, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. I’m available for adoption locally in Tennessee, or I can travel to the Northeast on March 6th. The rescue makes long-distance adoption simple — you can talk directly with my foster family and see videos of me before making your decision. Story
Meet Liberty — a beautiful little soul learning how wonderful life can be.  At 4.5 months old and 26 pounds, Liberty is a Golden Doodle/Beagle mix with the softest coat and the gentlest heart. But her story didn’t start gently. Born outside in late October, she spent her earliest months exposed to unpredictable weather and very little stability. Because of that rough beginning, Liberty is still building her confidence — and as of 2/10/26, we’d say she’s making steady, beautiful progress every single day. In just 10 days in foster care, we’ve watched her begin to blossom. She may still be a little shy at first, but look into her eyes and you’ll see it immediately — this girl wants love. She wants connection. She wants to belong. Liberty will quietly sit next to you on the couch, gently leaning in. She’ll snuggle close wherever you are. And when you come home? She lights up — dancing with excitement and offering sweet kisses as her welcome-home celebration.   Liberty is also incredibly smart. With a Goldendoodle dad and a Heeler/Beagle mix mom, she inherited both brains and beauty. She has her dad’s soft, low-shedding coat, making her likely to be a non-shedder. Her fur is silky and stunning — naturally highlighted like she’s just stepped out of a salon. Her coloring is truly unique and eye-catching. In her foster home, Liberty plays beautifully with other dogs. She is submissive and will roll over on her back, showing her gentle, respectful nature. She has also been around children and does well with them. Her temperament is balanced — she enjoys running and playing outside, but she’s equally content curled up beside her people.   One of the most special things about Liberty is her sensitivity to those she loves. When her foster mom recently had a migraine, Liberty quietly snuggled up beside her, offering comfort without being asked. She has that intuitive, caring spirit that makes certain dogs truly unforgettable.   Liberty is expected to grow to around 40 pounds when fully grown. With a loving, patient, and supportive family, she is going to fully bloom into an incredible companion — loyal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to her people. She may have had a shaky start, but her future is bright. If you’re ready to give Liberty the forever home she deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Liberty is ready to write her next chapter — this time filled with love.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 11, 2026, 11:18 am

Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters.
