She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 4years old, 58 pound spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 8 years and above. Story
Chunky Monkey Sunkiss is a tender-hearted puppy with a soft soul and a future full of promise. Born October 23 to a Lab mix mom and Heeler dad, Sunkiss began life surrounded by her siblings in a quiet country setting where her mom was safely cared for while raising her litter. Now, at 8 weeks old, she’s ready to take her next step — finding a family of her own. Sunkiss is a gentle snuggle girl at heart. While she enjoys playful moments with her siblings and does wonderfully with children, her favorite place is close to her people, soaking up love and reassurance. She has a calm, sweet nature that simply asks for patience, kindness, and guidance as she grows. She’s expected to be around 70 pounds when grown and will be a stunning adult with her pale yellow coat, white socks, and freckled face. Beneath her beauty is a sensitive, intelligent puppy who will thrive with positive training, routine, and trust-building — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and becomes a true family companion. Critter Cavalry Rescue is looking for adopters who understand the commitment of raising a puppy and are excited to invest in her future through walks, play, social experiences, and loving structure. Sunkiss will be ready to go home on January 17. If you feel called to help shape this sweet girl’s life forever, please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 12, 2026, 9:04 pm

Story
Kaz is one of those dogs that you could overlook if you just glanced at him.  But if you actually meet him and spend 5 minutes with him, then you see what a remarkable boy he is.   This 40 pounds Lab mix guy is 9-10 months old and he is looking for an exciting family to live with and spread his very special positive vibes and good will.  He is on the smaller side of a Lab and who knows what many other influences there are in his DNA.  What we do know is that he is a sweetheart of a dog who is so very intelligent and a ready student to learn.  He 'gets it' in life and is housebroken, crate trained and very inquisitive.  He manages to hang out with dogs of all sizes and ages with the greatest of ease.  Nothing unnerves this boy.   He is great with young children, adults, other dogs and even a cat.  He still has the puppy tendencies and gets the zoomies when he is excited and feeling his oats for the morning.  He does settle down ever so sweetly and can hang on the sofa or at your feet while you work.  He loves to cuddle and show you just how devoted and happy he is to be with you.  Kaz has a big heart ready for someone that will treasure his love.  If you are looking for a fun and active young teenage dog that will be a medium dog and no more than 50 pounds, yet BIG on personality, then write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live and a little something about yourself.  He is able to be an apartment dog if you are an active family, too.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 15, 2026, 11:53 pm

Story
Chunky Monkey Sugar Drop  is a soft-hearted little girl puppy who came into the world on October 23, one of six puppies born to a devoted Lab mix mama and a sturdy Heeler dad. Her first days were spent tucked close to her family near a quiet country home, where kind people made sure her mother had food and shelter to safely raise her babies. It was a simple beginning, but one filled with care, warmth, and love. Now at just 11 weeks old, Sugar Drop is safe with Critter Cavalry and waiting for the family who will help shape her future. She already shows how deeply she connects with people, especially children, offering gentle play, sweet kisses, and a calm presence beyond her young age. She rides beautifully in the car and settles easily into arms when it’s time to rest. Sugar Drop is a snuggle girl at heart, tender and trusting, with a quiet hope in her eyes that asks only for kindness, guidance, and patience. She will grow into a lovely 70-pound girl with a pale yellow coat, white socks, and a freckled face that makes her impossible to forget. With gentle training, consistency, and love, she will blossom into a smart, devoted family companion. Sugar Drop will be ready to begin her new life on January 17th, and she is waiting for someone who wants to love her for a lifetime. Story
Introducing Blair, a spirited and affectionate pup whose journey is as special as her Fourth of July birthday. Born into hardship but rescued just in time, Blair now has a fresh new start and is ready to leap into a future filled with love, comfort, and joyful adventures. Blair’s mama is a gorgeous Chocolate Lab, and her dad is an Australian Shepherd—but Blair herself is very much her mama’s daughter, with classic Lab looks: sleek black fur, expressive eyes, and a tiny touch of white on her chest. She is fully vetted, spayed, and thriving in her experienced foster home where she’s receiving all the care and nourishment she once lacked. This sweet girl has a big personality—she’s the social one of the litter, always eager to announce new discoveries, say hello to visitors, or let you know when something exciting is happening in the yard. Once she understands her surroundings, she settles into quiet observation mode, taking everything in like the smart little lady she is. Blair came from a place where food was scarce and attention even scarcer, so now she treasures every meal, every cuddle, and every moment she’s included. She’s learning the ropes of puppy manners: Leash training is a work in progress and her crate training is going well, but she prefers bedtime snuggles over crates.  Housebreaking is doing well with a doggie door to encourage impromptu excursions outside when nature calls.  What Blair needs most is a family who will guide her gently, love her deeply, and help her become the confident, well-mannered companion she’s meant to be. A fenced yard, patient humans, and maybe some children to adore would make her dreams come true. If Blair sounds like your perfect new family member, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. This girl has a heart full of love—and she’s ready to share it with YOU.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 25, 2026, 7:29 pm

Story
This amazing puppy that has the beautiful golden smile and coat of a golden color as well, is called Gabriel.  Living his first 4 months of life in a 10X 10 outdoor kennel with his other 6 siblings, this boy never has had a chance to run and play and be loved on until August 15th.  The day his life changed and that of his 6 siblings, will be a special one for Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Their hard and cruel past is behind them and now a bright and shiny future is promised them as CCR starts posting all the wonderful girls and boys that are from that litter.  They are loving, some shyer than others, but all are hungry to be cuddled, played with and offered the chance to love their humans deeply and forever.   Having a yard to run and play in has been a first ever since 8/15.  Can you imagine the freedom and exhilaration that our boy Gabriel has been feeling?  He has a little foster girl to kiss and play with and other dogs and even some chickens in the backyard.  He has been neutered and shots started and dewormings under way.  The road ahead will be a breeze compared to his first 4 months.  Currently he weighs 25 pounds and is destined to be a 55 pound adult lovebug.  If you love his smile then you will love his heart even more.  Friendly and learning all the new things about this wonderful world of good food, a dog bed, chew toys and above all, humans who care about him.  What more could make a puppy happier?  Well all that is left to top these great changes is to have a family adopt him!!!!   Could that be you!?  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  We adopt locally in Nashville, TN area where he is fostered and we also offer transportation to the northeast to families and homes that want to give our dogs and cats a better life.  Just let us know where you live!  We can get our boy there and close! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 28, 2025, 12:33 pm

Story
Margo is the kind of dog who stops people in their tracks—beautiful, soft, soulful, and radiating that unmistakable Golden Retriever sweetness. She came from a backyard breeder as an 8-week-old puppy, advertised as a Goldendoodle, but as she grew, it became clear that her heart and her heritage lean almost entirely Golden. Born on 2/7/23 and now weighing about 50 pounds, she has matured into a graceful, gentle young girl who wants nothing more than to be loved. Her original family adored her and provided her with a safe, caring home, but unexpected personal challenges arose—difficult ones that prevented them from giving her the consistency, time, and attention she truly deserved. They made the painful, selfless decision to ask for help in finding her a new family, wanting Margo to live her best possible life. And what a gift this girl will be to her new home. Margo is sweetness personified. She is friendly with every dog she meets, respectful and calm around cats, and gentle enough to be trusted with young children. She needs to be in a home of no small dogs - she thinks they are playthings. Her temperament is exactly what people love about Golden Retrievers—steady, affectionate, intuitive, and endlessly kind. She greets new people with a soft smile and happy tail as if welcoming them into her world. Margo is still young and doesn’t have many commands under her belt, but she is a blank slate in the best possible way. She watches her people carefully, eager to understand what’s expected of her, and she responds beautifully to gentle guidance. With patience and routine, she will blossom into a perfectly mannered companion. A fenced yard would be ideal for her—she loves the freedom to run, sniff, and stretch those young, energetic legs. She hasn’t had nearly enough opportunities for outdoor play or structured exercise, so a family who values activity and time outside will help her thrive. After playtime, she’ll settle in beside you with that soft Golden warmth that makes every house feel more like home. Margo is the whole package: beauty, personality, intelligence, and a heart full of love. She is ready for the stability of a forever home where she won’t have to transition again—a place where she can grow up, bond deeply, and be cherished every day. If you’ve been dreaming of a young Golden mix with all the emotional intelligence and gentle spirit the breed is famous for, Margo could truly be your once-in-a-lifetime dog. She is hoping to find her new family just in time for the holiday season. To apply for this beautiful girl, email ccrnewengladn@gmail.com.
