Story
Meet Mabel! This affectionate young lady was found as a stray in Arkansas and spent time in Mississippi before making her way to Maine. Her face is pure lab- but the rest of her body and markings suggest pure mutt. Mabel is doing great with leash work and has done some off leash training. She is food motivated and eager to please so there is a ton of potential. She does seem reactive to larger dogs- at least vocally- and may benefit from more socialization now that she feels safe. But If you are looking for a friend that loves car rides and running errands this is the girl for you. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Quinn is an approximately 8 month old, 35 pound, Labrador/Shepherd Mix (age and breed are best guess). Quinn is house trained and crate trained. Quinn flew in from Puerto Rico on 12/13 with his brother in hopes of finding his forever family here in New England for Christmas. Quinn was found abandoned in the rural town of Utado, Puerto Rico with 7 other siblings just before a hurricane in mid-August. A local business owner posted the puppies looking to help before the hurricane. Someone came and rescued 6 of them but left Quinn and his brother Alex behind. When the weather calmed, a man named Juan went back to the area to make sure all the pups had been rescued and to his surprise he found Quinn and his brother Alex huddled together, soaking wet and shivering. Within a couple days both of the boys came down with parvovirus. They were immediately hospitalized and treated. The boys were very lucky as the virus was caught quickly so it was mild. Quinn is now perfectly healthy and a playful and energetic puppy. He loves kisses and hugs and gets along with everyone. Quinn is significantly larger than his brother and has long legs but will still likely be a medium sized to smaller large dog. He loves to play with other dogs. Quinn saw his first snowfall his very first full day here and absolutely loves to play in it with his doggy foster sister! Quinn just absolutely adores other dogs. Quinn also has chickens at his foster home that he pays no bother to. Quinn is fostered in Bath. Story
Stanley has been with us since he was a small puppy! He will need a special home with gentle love to give, as he is very scared in new situations. He loves people and is good with other dogs! He loves being outside and going on walks around our facility. We are working on leash training him, but as of now he’s quite scared to have a leash on. Stanley is good motivated and is super smart and eager to please. He loves playing in the water and just spending time with people. He’s medium energy and would make an amazing hiking partner! Stanley is a loving, loyal boy and he can’t wait to find his home! If you are interested in fostering or adopting Stanley, email wynnefoa@gmail.com

Story
Black Dog and Mystery need a home where their special bond will be accepted with open arms! They are a bonded pair that must stay together! Mystery, as her name implies, baffles us with her odd ways and behaviors. Though she loves our company and spending quality time with us, she doesn’t like physical affection and is terrified in new situations. Black Dog is her rock. They spend every moment together. Black Dog is a lazy guy, though he loves leisurely walks and exploring. Mystery is a bit more active and playful— she LOVES playing fetch! Black Dog does need a healthier diet and exercise balance that is hard to require in a shelter. We are trying though! Though Mystery is odd, she’s such a great dog and will make you laugh! These two have a lot of love to give and are waiting for their home. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Black Dog and Mystery, please email wynnefoa@gmail.com We'd prefer them to be the only dogs in the home just because they share such a strong bond!
