Story
Meet Zuri! Our beautiful 4 year old  girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include Husky mix  (55%) and a touch of Lab and Pit mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in the past and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri is still looking for the right and confident owner.  She is in foster care and is totally crate trained and housebroken. She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 4years old, 58 pound spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 8 years and above. She has good leash manners and doing well with housebreaking.  Zuri just wants her chance to prove that she’s a great family member and cuddle up with you at night!  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained, pretty girl that deserves the best life from her on out…please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 19, 2025, 1:48 pm

Story
Meet Clyde the Glide – The Coolest Dog You’ll Ever Know   Looking for a dog that’s the total package? Let us introduce you to Clyde the Glide – a one-year-old black Lab with a heart of gold, a chill vibe, and a tail that never stops wagging. At 55 pounds of pure love and loyalty, Clyde is everything you could want in a four-legged best friend… and more!  Don’t let his smooth, easygoing style fool you — this guy has overcome a lot. Clyde spent his first year tied up in a backyard with barely any attention, but you’d never know it. Since coming into rescue from a Kentucky shelter (where, by the way, he was the staff favorite), he’s shown us just how resilient and lovable he truly is.  Clyde is a social butterfly — he fits in instantly wherever he goes. Kids? Loves them. Chihuahuas? No problem. Great Danes? Yep, he’s cool with them too. He’s polite, gentle, and super friendly with people and pups alike. He even rides nicely in the car and walks like a pro on leash. He's fully housebroken, not a chewer, and doesn't jump up on people. In other words: his manners are already top-tier. He’s past the puppy chaos, but still young and playful with a ton of love to give.    A quick heads-up: Clyde has shown a little interest in chasing cars in the past, so he’ll need someone who can keep a close eye on him during walks or has a fenced-in yard for safe playtime.  Cats? He's generally okay with them, though he might bark a bit from the crate if they’re teasing him on the outside. We think he just wants to be part of all the action. Clyde is fully grown and ready to glide straight into your heart and home. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard or regular trips to a dog park to stretch those legs and get his zoomies on. His spirit is gentle, joyful, and genuinely special — this boy is ready to bring light, love, and laughter into a lucky family’s life.    Ready to bring Clyde the Glide home? Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com — don’t wait! This boy is too good to miss.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 25, 2025, 8:57 pm

Story
Meet Beckett, an adorable and handsome purebred yellow lab who is just over a year old and weighs 65 lbs. He’s looking for a loving family to call his own—could that be you? Beckett would be the perfect addition to any active household. Bursting with energy, he loves to play and enjoys walks on the leash, making every outing a delightful adventure. But there's more to Beckett than just his playful spirit. He’s a quick learner and already knows several commands, always eager to master new ones. An especially patriotic pup, Beckett has a big heart. He adores his dad, Hunter, who is preparing to serve our country in just a few weeks. This transition will be tough for Beckett, and he needs your love and support to help him adjust to a new home. Imagine the joy Beckett could bring to your life—a loyal companion who is ready to fill your days with fun and affection. Consider welcoming Beckett into your family and giving him the warmth he deserves! Beckett is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption. To be considered for Beckett's forever family and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@comcast.net. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
SEE VIDEO OF BENNYBenny- 78 lb, 2 year old, black with white paws, lab mix  Handsome Benny may look full grown but he's still just a playful, energetic puppy! Born This boy loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, he requires a fenced in yard where the fence is at least 5 ft high so he can run and explore. He needs a doggie playmate.  He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. We think he would do very well in a two dog household as he does get lonely and bored when left alone. Exercise is a must for this boy so an active family would be great for him. He is fully potty trained.
