Story
Hi there! My name`s Champ! I`m about 6 months old, currently weigh about 49lb, and I`m a Lab Mix!I`m a super friendly boy with A LOT of energy!! I would love a big fenced in yard to run around and play in! I would also love to go for walks!I love playing with toys, tennis balls especially!I know sit and down, and would love to learn more!I play great with other dogs! I haven`t been around cats, though, so a supervised introduction is recommended!I most likely will be fine with kids, just please supervise us when we are together.I`m up to date on my vaccines, just make sure I see my new veterinarian regularly.I`m available as a foster to adopt, as I`m just waiting to be neutered. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. To help speed up the application process, it is recommended that you complete the online application form found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is $200.

Story
Rocky is a great dog with a lot of energy. He is very smart. He listens to commands like sit, lay down and give his paw. He loves baths and stays very relaxed. He plays fetch and has great coordination. He will track flies and catch them right out of the air. He does have a lot of energy and needs some room to run around. He's isn't great around really small children/Babies. He's not aggressive but he gets so excited he will knock them over or step on them. He always wants to play and just doesn't understand. We have a 1 year old and another baby on the way and that is why we need to find rocky a new home We adopted rocky when he was around 1 year old. He is 5 now

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Story
Teddy is a very playful lab. He likes to go for walks and he loves to be rubbed and snack. He doesn’t like extreme weather (heat, cold or rain). He’s house broken, so once he finishes his business he likes to comeback inside. He’s crate trained as well. He has very keen senses and he hears things outside before you will and has no problem letting you know. We love Teddy, but unfortunately with our busy lives we don’t have the time to make sure he’s getting the true fulfillment out of being a loving lab.

Story
Meet Jenny! This lovable seven-month-old lab mix has her whole life in front of her and is eager to spend it with you! Let's help this 40-pound sweetheart find the family we know she's dreaming of! Jenny is an attentive girl who is very capable and eager to learn! She knows some commands already and will benefit from continued training to help her be the best dog she can be. Jenny is very treat-motived which will be a great tool in helping her learn. She appears to be interested in other dogs and has a wonderful temperament. A yard for her to play in is a must for Jenny. She would thrive with a family committed to keeping her exercised and engaged. Talk about a great way to spend your time! Based on our evaluation, Jenny would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids and ages five and up. She may have the ability to live with other dogs. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Please head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and fill out an application for Jenny today!
